Ordering my pole TOMORROW!!
So I decided to take up my friend on his offer to lend me the money to buy a pole, and he is ordering it tomorrow! So excited! At first, after I decided to accept, I realized that I thought the ceilings in my dorm room (big single) were false. That made me very sad, so today I climbed up on my bed and knocked on them only to find out that they are glorious, glorious PAINTED CONCRETE! i was so excited when i realized this! then i thought my ceilings would be too short to fit an xpole, but then i measured it….8’2"!! i’m spending all weekend cleaning and reorganizing my bedroom to make room for my lovely pole. it’s been like 2 months since i could pole, so i can’t wait to start back up!

Yay! Concrete is best for a dorm situation because of the limited space – if you had joists, it might not leave you with the most desirable location for your pole depending on where they were. Have fun when it gets here! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Unfortunately, it seems like it won’t be getting ordered until later this week. But oh well, so is the way the world goes.

Thats great! Are you gonna have a sign on your door that lets people know that your poling at that time? I could already see your dorm as the stage for performances.
