So I put my vid of my new found split grip ayesha up on youtube yesterday as well as here on SV and as a result, I was sent some spam from one person and a slightly odd request from someone else. The second person (the first was easy to spot as spam so was an easy delete) wanted me to do a video about my feet because they said they like to draw feet and particular like high arches and ballerina feet. I see round yt that a few other people have done similar vids for them but does anyone else find this weird?? Or if, by any strange coincedence, the person or someone who knows them is on here, can you tell me a bit more about your drawing of feet? Personally I think my feet are quite flat and a little weird from running (don't talk to me about dead toenails and toe calluses!) but I guess I can get nice lines through my legs and down through my feet. Anyway, thought I'd  see what other people thought before I responded, just in case I'm feeding some foot fetisher's habit!

Sorry, should have made it clearer – the person sent the message through yt not through SV – SV folks have been perfectly normal and congratulatory!:)

Would delete that message from the foot enthusiast… sounds like a weirdo. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif

I would say that is for sure a person with a foot fetish. They very well may draw the feet but its more to remember them then anything else. I wouldnt say they are creepy people, most of them are quite nice. But if your not comfortable with that then just tell them that you will have to pass. But you appreciate the compliment.

    Sassafrassle,

I think the fact that you have a question in your mind about this person woudl suggest they are a weirdo. Trust your instinct – unfortunately by the nature of pole we will attract more than our fair share I suspect! Trouble is, we're all so nice and trusting and people like this are taking full advantage of that. If in doubt, delete…. 🙂

I'm dating a guy with a foot fetish. That could very well be the case. But I echo the other posters' advice: if you're uncomfortable about it, thank him for the flattery but politely decline.

You have given me ideas about a vid I could make for my guy, though. ;>) Heh.

I don't think the guy necessarily has a fetish. Hands and feet are 2 of the HARDEST body parts to draw, so it could be that he is trying to master those areas and really improve his drawing skills. If you have ever tried drawing feet, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I personally don't find it THAT weird even if he does have a fetish. The video is public, and it's only your feet. If he was asking to draw your boobies or ass, then I might be like "WHAAAAAAT?"

I definitely think he has a fetish.  In my opinion, that doesn't make him a weirdo … just a statistical outlier.  🙂  In fact it sounds like he is pretty gentlemanly about it.  But don't make him a video of your feet.  There's plenty of foot porn out there (including ballerinas with high arches) … you have better things to do!

The requester actually appears to be female – at least they say they are! Not that that really changes anything…I guess I don't really have a problem with what people do with vids – I wouldn't put things up publically on the internet otherwise! I just find it odd because a)they asked for a specific vid rather than just working off what obviously interested them in the first place b)I've not had any sort of comments from anyone I don't already know or know of in any of the performance vids I have up on youtube and c)my feet are kind of flat and "lived in" for want of a better term so it surprises me that anyone's really interested! I might ask them for a few more details before I decide but thanks for all of your input 🙂

Look at it this way: How many sweaty creepers living in their mother's basements are watching our vids (wherever we post them) and doing god only knows what with them?

We're pole dancers, ya know? I don't want to think too much about what people are thinking about when they watch us dance. (Except my BF and I know exactly what he's thinking about…) So what difference does it make if someone has a shoulder lift fetish or a foot fetish or a stripper heel fetish…? I feel like we provide a public service for all the freaks out there.

As a writer, I learned a long time ago that my art is only personal until it's finished. Then it becomes a product. What people do with that product after I release it is their business and I have no control over it. I feel the same way about dance (and any other art form, really).
