    Hi

I am new to studio Veena. I started poling in my first year of uni—my flatemate ih first year asked me to go along to the poledancing society classes with her at the union and after the first semester I was hooked and I have been poling ever since 😀

I was hoping that someone would be kind enough to reveiw a couple pole products for me if you have used them……

Jamillia's Art of Pole routines DVD's – I have the rest of AOP collection and love them but I could us some inspration on how to put moves together – are these DVD's helpful? and what level are they aimed at? I would consider myself an upper intermediate even though I'm in the "adavnced" class at our society– i can do most inverts and holds but i'm still building up the strength to do really advanced inverts like the handspring if that makes sense???

mika yoga wear- I'v looked at their website many times and toyed with the idea of getting some but the postage to the UK is really exspensive. are they worth it?? i like shorts with enough coverage to cover my bum- and the tops of my thighs and it's not clear from the photos whether they would. I also really like the look of their tops but i'm very flat chested (34A/32B depending on the fit)do their tops offer enough support/coverage? or are there any better options out their for smaller chests? maybe with padding???

look foreward to hearing what you guys have to say on all of this and happy poling to all 😀

    hi,

i think i have bought all the dvds out there.  i think the jamilla ones are the best out there.  like with this site, things are broken down so that the very beginner can feel like they are accomiplishing the move.  and at the same time, she has very advanced moves on the later dvds.   the other dvd i would suggest is the pole exercise.  inbox if u have more questions.

Welcome to the sitehttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif …the AOP dvds are the closest to my style of teaching so for dvds I like that one. If your looking for routines I do have them in the lessons here. They are not mini routines like you find on some dvds but full length over a min, with a break down of the movements. Also I add new content or up date content every month, this is something you can't get in a dvd.

I hear a lot of good things about Mika yoga wear but have never tried it. I like Poleskivvies pole wear and I also use a lot of swim suite bottoms. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

A friend of mine really loves her mika yoga wear – she wears the shorts pretty often and they are great with coverage. I don't know about the tops though. I would also recommend Pole Fit from bad kitty exotic wear. They have a few different styles in tops and bottoms. I am ordering some of the pole fit for my b-day and can't wait  :o)

I would always recommend Veena's lessons – she adds new ones all the time. Plus, what better way to learn than by supporting a website you already love?!?!

I hope this helps! Best of luck finding what you need  :o)
