    Hi everybody,

I started pole dancing in October 2008 and began teaching classes by the end of that month. In April 2009, I participated in a Sex Show to promote pole dancing for fitness. Here’s a video of my very first performance that weekend. My requirements were to only perform beginner moves.

You move beautifully! Congrats on moving so fast – you seem like a natural, I’m sure you’re a great instructor!

    Thanks ladies!

The experience was terrifying; seen by my super sweaty hands. As an ex-semi-pro ballerina I love the exhilaration of performance; however, the pole and it’s positioning weren’t what I had expected. Due to other performances after me, the pole’s 4′ x 4′ platform was placed at the very front of the stage and the pole was held down by a few sand bags under the platform. As you can imagine, I was terrified of slipping off the shaky pole and/or falling off the stage.

I can only imagine how scary that was! But you smiled the whole time and looked like you weren’t scared to death, LOL. Good job!
