Once upon a time I used Windows, then moved on to duel boot between Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux. I use Ubuntu Linux exclusively now – because my laptop that duel-booted died. Ubuntu doesn’t have default movie editing software and I couldn’t find any in Synaptic.

But I did find this link: http://techcityinc.com/2009/02/04/top-10-free-video-editors-for-ubuntu-linux/

Has anyone used any of these? I’m looking for something that’s simple and works similar to Windows Movie Maker, except that doesn’t suck like WMM. I just want to be able to put together video clips, add audio, and captions. Nothing too fancy as I don’t spend too much time with it.

(I’m going to predict that Webmaster is going to be the only one who has any clue what I’m talking about and/or will be able to help me, lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)
