@pole bunny – Yes! Exactly! We all progress differently. Loving this.

@poleophile – This is the drama queen. http://www.triagedesign.co.uk/wikipole/index.php5?title=Image:Dramaqueen.jpg The advanced is when you fall from a sit (can do), uber advanced is when you fall from an invert and are upside down (won’t try! Lol). Love the apprentice! It’s a good transition into inverts. Name 2 more new ones. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_compress.gif

i know the drama queen as the sad girl- when it’s a drop from a sit, it’s a sad girl drop, and when it’s inverted it’s a bomb https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

So… to keep the game going, I went back to polephile’s post.

Yes, I can do apprentice and caterpillar and one hip hold.

My latest are the Remi spin (SOOOO fun), butterfly to inside leg hang, and extended butterfly (still in progress!)

    what’s a remi spin?

i can do both of the others!

hm. the latest move that i got was a one-handed belly jade on spin. i dont think too many other people are masochistic enough to work on that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gif , so i will add two moves that i’ve recently taught my students: the int/adv girls are doing the handstand scorpio to spinning chopper dismount, and in one of my more beg/int classes, they are working on the cradle!

I can do the cradle, yogini and V hiphold

My latest moves are – perfected the remi drop, baby version of the phoenix and the jade.

BUT – I’ll also use what I have recently taught my students because i think those are those moves are a little hefty…We did tuck spin/basic cradle, butterfly and spinning dismount from invert.

Holly drop, scorpio handstand spin, and allegra w/foot grab.

I can do the Holy Drop. My latest moves are twisted grip mount on a 1.75 inch pole, spinning side climb into shouldermount into brass monkey and power reverse hook into spinning butterfly. Oh I also just got flat on my right front splits just 2 weeks ago https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif if that counts cuz thats a BIGGIE for me. It took me 14 months of stretching for 5x a week for an hour with 1/2 hour of eliptical to warm up first. I started at 19 inches from the floor.

    Yay for splits! Congrats! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
My latest moves are a baby pheonix (I’m using Charley’s description!), extended down splits with one hand (!), and the daredevil. Though I admit those are about a month or 2 old by now I’ve been slacking because of school lately!
My advance students just learned the v hip hold, cupid, and elbow grip static v!

    what’s a remi spin?

It’s like chair, except the outside hand cups the pole above the inside hand. (Both your hands are going the same way.) You can really fly! I don’t know if it has another name or not. You know how names are!

Fun game! although i can’t a turn now, because i can’t do anything that involves splits, the baby phoenix (or any phoenix, lol), and i’ve never tried the daredevil (which i will next practice!).. so i’ll take my turn later https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
