  LYRA HOOOOOP

  Hello! I would really LOVE to install a lyra hoop in my apartment. Is this possible? Is it safe? I saw someone had done it on a youtube video so it must be possible. My apartment has 9′ ceilings. All answers are greatly appreciated!

  It is impossible to tell you what your ceiling can support in this regard. Your best bet would be to have a professional come in to evaluate the load bearing capacity of your ceiling and whether its realistic to install the necessary hardware to hang a lyra.

  you could also look into getting a portable rig, there are some with adjustable heights so you can use it indoor or outdoor =)

  At festivals I hang my lyra in trees. I purchase most of my hardware at Lowes the hardware store, its perfect for buying rigging materials, caribeaners, straps, rope, pulleys etc. Also if you know someone with an old swing set you can use that as a free stand.
