I have officially opened my own pole dance studio in St Louis Mo!
I am now the proud owner of http://www.PinkLemonStudio.com
​I have been pole dancing since May 2010. I absolutely love pole, and my dream is to share it with the world. After years of teaching, training, and managing another studio, I made the leap to ownership. I look forward to the demands and rewards of running my own business.
My goal is to create a strong pole community, please wish me luck along this journey!
Thanks to all the amazing people here on SV who fostered my pole interest, sparked my creativity, and gave me tenacity to try, try again!
I hope to see many of you at my studio in the future, let's pole jam!
I am also seeking talented instructors, and those interested in teaching workshops.

Did you ask any of the Mynx instructors? There are quite a few people qualified to teach who might be looking for more class time… Are you part of the Mynx fb group? I'll PM you. I know a TON of good instructors in St. Louis.

I am picking out flooring, looking for mirrors, and deciding on paint colors! It's so wonderful to see my vision coming to life! Can't wait til I can start posting pictures of the progress, we take possession of the building June 1st!

@Korinne – I forgot to mention, yes I am part of the Mynx group =) Love Michelle to pieces, she is a wonderful instructor, super friendly and sweet lady, and I have mad respect for her. She led the way for St Louis pole classes, I hope I can follow in her footsteps and be a great leader in our pole community.
@Ive8899 Before this, I worked at a pole studio for the past 3 years as sales and as an instructor. I'm also a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist, and I've worked for spas and myself over the past few years too. I also work for my husband's software firm in sales and customer service. =) I'm a jack of all trades! But it's great because now I can use all my skills in one job! LOL.

@Leesi – Thank you so much! I plan on ordering some pole silks, and offering classes in a few months too =) Would LOVE LOVE to have you come teach a workshop if you ever want to come visit. I will definitely be trying to come back to Denver this year and see you again!

It's really happening now! Tomorrow is my grand opening, and I just got home from a day of cleaning and final touches on the studio. It's so surreal to finally be at this moment, and I can't wait to see the place full of happy pole dancers. Pole has truly given me a way to express myself, and I've become the strong, confident women I never knew I could be. I'm ready to be a business owner and be successful. Wish me luck ladies!

Just wanted to add a little update on the studio. It’s been 3 months since I opened Pink Lemon Studio and we’ve been happily chugging along and growing into a wonderful community. We are gathering a great group of women and they have been having fun learning pole and getting into healthier shape. I’m so proud of where I’m at so far, and I look forward to the future. I love pole!
