Hi everyone, just wondering about this topic. I’m lucky I have a few studios to choose from. I started out at Shemoves, but switched to Bobbi’s as their timetable works better for me. I’ve also attended workshops at 3 other studios (Fitzy’s pole n tone in two locations, and Pole Fever – who are behind the West Australian Pole Camp I think) and had privates at Shemoves, Bobbi’s and Fitzy’s. Anyone care to comment? 😉

Let's see…7 just in NE Ohio.  I think only another 4 on top of that.

Make that 8 in NE Ohio, but the last one never officially opened her doors.  I went to visit her when she was still setting up shop but then something happened and she disappeared off the face of the earth.

I don’t live next to any studios so try to hit them when I am out of town for a private or drop in class. Probably pushing 10……

I've been to several; my favorites though are Total Woman in Minnesota, and of course StudioVeena. I think the teacher and atmosphere of the classes make a huge impact on whether I feel comfortable enough to return. Right away, you can tell the difference between a teacher who really cares about your progress vs a teacher who's ultimate goal is to further her own self.

I've been to/taken classes at about 8 in the LA area. And 1 out of state-Fitness with a twist in Pittsburgh. My plan is to visit a studio everytime I go to another state or town from now on though. I quite enjoy experiencing the different teaching styles and atmospheres in the different cities. I hope to drop in on on a class at Fawnia's studios in Vegas the next time I go! 🙂

I regularly hit 3 local studios. Do drop in at a fourth as time allows. And try to get to out of town studios when I travel for work – meeting new pole people beats the pants off sitting in a hotel room by yourself. I love learning from different people gives me a better feeling for my own style and gives me multiple points of view for tips on perfecting tricks and spins.

One. 🙁  I had to travel and hour and a half to get to it.  We do not have a pole stuido in our area.  I am working on getting a pole class going at a local gym.

Only 2. I started at one because I had a groupon deal and when I moved I found the studio that I’m currently at. Mind you I am limited to just the one option here.

I’ve taken regular classes at 4

Drop ins or private lessons at 6

And at least 5 more semi local ones to try!!

And about 7 pole star workshops….. soon to be 8 as oona is coming to town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The drop ins are usually on vacation…. I love seeing other studios and learning new techniques from other instructors

I always learn something whether its a beginner class or advanced

Hmm just 4… my home studio (Fantasy Fitness in Michigan.. we have 2 studios), Pole Addiction in Michigan, and Flirty Girl in Chicago, and the first time I took pole was actually at a non-pole exercise studio that just had removable poles, not sure if that counts. I would love to visit more pole studios.

I have been to 5 studios. Wow. I did not realize that. I have one I call home and that is Infinity Aerial in Columbus, OH. It is still over an hour away though. I do not get to goo regularly. I am one who pays and shows up for workshops at various studios here and there.

I was regualy attending Xpose Fitness in Hanover, MD.  Ive also taken classes at the Towson, MD location and do drop ins from time to time at the Annapolis, MD location.  I prefer Annapolis over all of them for personal reasons.  Ive also taken classes at Pole Pressure in 3 of their locations.  I havent visited the new location yet but from looking at pictures – its so pretty!

I've been to Davis And Sacramento Pole dance studios as well as Unveiled Fitness. I attend the first two when I am in Davis for school and the latter when I go home to visit family.

I’m so happy to see this thread. I’ve been meaning to compile a list of all os the studios that I’ve trained at. My job requires me to travel constantly, so I don’t have a home studio. With new city that I visit, I have to find a new studio to train at. I’ve extremely lucky to have studio owners open their doors to allow me train outside of regular business hours.

My list is incomplete, but so far I remember 31 studios. This is not counting the places where I’ve only taught workshops or privates. I’ve actually put in hours upon hours of training at over 31 studios.

I got to take a private at Shine in Las vegas with Suwasit!! I also saw Pink Puma training there and saw her doing her stretch warm up…holy crapola! Suwasit was the same size as me and really cute and a great instructor I highly recommend the studio and his instruction.

On the same trip I was in Alethea's pole space in her LA apartment does that count?! I swam in her pool too. I also saw Veena's new house and swam in her pool too!!! It was the best celebrity polecation ever I am still dreaming of it!!

I have been to 4 pole studios, and I hope to visit as many more as I can!

FitChix Fitness Studio – St Louis, Mo (my home studio)

Soft Senuous Moves – San Antonio, Tx

    L'Rue Studio – Denver, Co

Body & Pole – NYC, Ny

There are so many great studios I would love to go to, and instructors I would love to take classes from! The ladies at Vertical Joe's Atlanta seem wild, bet I could learn some tricks from them! Or if I could get to England and hang out with the Polenastics crew. Another dream is to someday make it to Australia and dance at Bobbi's Studio in Sydney!

My vacations are now just excuses to take more pole classes! =)

I like to have at least one pole session on visits back to the UK, otherwise I lose strength and the callouses disappear from my hands 😉
