I do pole classes online here at Studio Veena and I am also scheduled to do a test out at Polelateaz in Atlanta for skill level. Since the bad weather started I have no way to complete this stuff. Its driving me nuts.

None of you ladies are close to the zip code 30286 are you? I am in dire need of a dance studio with a pole for a video I need to film for my reel to send to the owner of a dance studio so I can start teaching it. My photographer and friend was supposed to shoot it in his home studio and he has lighting and a platform I can dance on but I cant get up to Atlanta to work. i-75 is a long ride when you're going 30 mph.

I've been trying to buy my own pole for a while- but they are only selling bad poles on Craigslist and/or wont answer my e-mails yet. Plus the whole world is shut down because of this weather. I dont get it.

I would try the Thomaston civic center's dance studio but they're probably closed too, and as the epicentre of the bible belt I know for a fact they dont have a pole. I think purchasing one would make them feel like they'd be making a b-line straight to hell. Thats kinda how these folks are.

Either way. I need to film and find a place to dance and I'm sure the cold weather has us ladies bored with a great opportunity to get together and practice.

If we had somewhere to do it…

I'm planning on making my own personal studio (someday) I just got a 1 bedroom in Midtown Atlanta I haven't moved into yet but there isn't room for a studio like my last place in Phenix City. Butr right now I'm in between Thomaston and Barnesville until the 15th or later (depending on weather keeping me from making money at the club).

I would LOVE to host some poling parties for the Georgia Peaches on the site. Or we can just chip in together and rent out a pole studio twice a month or something and just play around and learn stuff. 🙂 The studio rental fees aren't bad.

Anyway. Ladies let me know if you have a studio /  makeshift studio / pole area. I'm at my parents house right now and they have some soft hardwood (heels make dents), stone/marble floors, tiled floors (those hurt when I transition to floor) and carpet (I dont want rug burn either)…

I'm totally down to get together and pole today. What else can you do on a snow day? Play in the snow? Its too cold!
