Finally got round to introducing myself…

I’ve been learning to pole dance for a month or so. (Although did take a few weeks out from an injured elbow, which I hated doing) I have got a X-pole at home, and go to classes, one hour every week. However, kinda did things the wrong way round…

I actually applied for a job in a bar near me, for bar work. Once I got there for my interview I found they actually had a pole there and my manager was a pole dancer and teacher. As soon as I set eyes on the pole I was hooked. I got the job, and was allowed to dance on the pole. (No pole dancing or even any sort of dance training whatsoever)

However, after a couple of weeks my manager left without teaching me any moves… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif so i took it into my own hands to teach myself and get lessons as I love EVERY second of pole dancing. So now every Saturday I get to show my new moves to my victims.. I do tell them I am only a pole dancing in training though. It isn’t a pole dancing bar. It really is just a bar with a pole in it… but keeps me happy and I love working there!!!!

Been a member with this site for a couple of weeks now and think you are all SSOOOO friendly. And I am learning so much from all of you! Can’t wait to learn new things and get advice from you all! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

OOO…. and I have just mastered the inverted crucifix… yey!!! although still haven’t mastered getting down gracefully! hehe.

    Hi!!

I am from Manchester, in the North West. Thank you, i am hoping that the gracefulness will come in time! In the mean time, I don’t mind laughing at myself trying to get down. x https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Hey another UKer https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I’m Northampton. When I come down from hanging upside down I try to twist my body round once my shoulders are on the floor, that sounds well weird actually. You’ll get it soon, spesh being part of this site just keep watching all the vids lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Welcome. I’m another UK girl but I’m from the south I live in Kent and love poledancing I’m completely hooked. Graceful unfortunately takes time but the dismount I find easiest from inverted crucifix when I was first learning is the forward roll. Tuck you head in as you come down and roll into a sitting position then you can get up nicely from there. Polephoenix’s suggestion is another good once as neither require you to support your body weight and bring your legs down gracefully. Goodluck with the practice.

    Cxxx

Hiya I’m from glasgow in scotland, welcome!,ur bar sounds like a lot of fun! We should have more bars like that in glasgow! Lol we’ve only got one or two but the poles arnt great (non strip clubs I mean). Keep at your poling and watch veenas lessons they are great! Sounds to me you are progressing quite well for some1 who hasn’t been to classes or anything so well done!! I like to dismount from inverted cruxifix either in a spin dismount (were you come down near the ground fold into one arm, push with the other hand and kinda spin round and down off the pole) if that makes sense? Lol, x

i think i am going to treat myself to veena’s lessons! They do sound great. The pole at my work is good, tall and on a stage and luckily not as slippy as mine own one at home. I do think poling has become my life, and this website! I love everything about it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif And Sasha’s Pole I feel your pain being without a pole. I tired going 2 weeks after an injured elbow trying to not pole and it drove my crazy! At least we have each other here to keep us sane. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Loopie Lou, the bar is in a town called Macclesfield (it is not a great night out) in a club called Repent. It is knew and not very well known. But i love messing around in there when i work. So if you ever did happen to pass by that way. hehehe.

Hi there! Yay another uk lass! I’m from London but I went to Uni in Leeds and I was always popping over to Manc, I miss it! I’m a beginner too, I’ve just hit the 2 month mark, can’t wait to be able to do crazy stuff but I guess have to build up strength first. sigh.
Your job sounds amazing, I wanna have a pole in my work. Although I work in market research at the moment so you know, it might be a little out of place. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

aww thank you. when i watch it now some dance moves i do make me cringe! and i didnt even do it that long ago!

And i am sure there must be a way of combing market research and pole dancing! I think every job should involve pole dancing. Would be so much fun going to work. hehe. x
