Hello from NW Florida!!

Trying to learn..glad I found this site. I live in NW Florida near the Destin area…I have a daughter that took vertical fitness classes and now I’m on board. Very stiff, but working hard. Upper body strength is coming along. It’s been a great stress reducer! My cat looks at me like I’m a nut in there spinning and sweaty, but he looks at me like that a lot anyway, haha. I haven’t quite figured out a profile pic yet? No inversions yet, haha. One day soon I hope…cheer me on! Have a great weekend,

My sis lives in Mary Esther and I have been visiting that area since the late 80’s.

Wow! Small world..I was born in Ft. Walton…I’m in Mary Esther all the time. I live on the north end of the county now, but parents and sis are all still there.

My mom was down there for a while on the island. One too many hurricane seasons and she moved back up north!

We usually are down there every spring but the last 2 years it has not worked out. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif

There is another one or two here that are from your area…..I think one is in Pensacola and one might be in Destin. I was surprised when I saw the first studio open up down there and now it looks like there are 2!

They put one in Panama City and in Crestview so I know Tabu has at least three now..maybe four? I’ve just been on-line trying to find a decent pair of patent boots to protect my bruised and tender legs haha. Any suggestions?

Don’t get any that have the little hooks for the laces. Talk about weird bruising patterns!

Thank you Veena! So glad to be here…I’m guessing consistent pole work will enable me to squeeze my lazy mare to bits, ha ha. Best of luck with your move and "settling in". It sounds like you have a lot on your plate!
