i have a very good idea how it works hun…. just here in canada its much more liberal and dirty than in other country, almost brothels. you are right , i dont know how it works in other places but i sure do for canada especially quebec and ontario is different laws than the west canada ( no touching and keep panties) while quebec is full contact no panties. it s impossible HERE to make theese amounts because of the prostitution no matter how good or gorgeous you are. hope it clears up what i meant 🙂

That’s why location is important to think about. In my state strip club rules say customers can NOT touch the dancers. The dancers have full control of what’s going on in the club for themselves in every aspect. And if they are uncomfortable they have the right to end the dance and walk away. But as I also said, it’s common in the area I worked on for women to be prostituting as well, so all the women there were pulling tricks on the side except for me (at the time I was dancing) because I disagree with the progression, and living far away was a benefit because there is very little exposure to prostitution where I lived.

I have a friend who stripped, and she had a guy who tipped really well….but he always wanted to lick her pit! Never heard of such a thing…..

LOL Lyme Lyte! Yeah, there’s lots of odd fetishes out there! The armpit one isn’t that uncommon – I’ve had several guys pay me to smell my armpits – but I’ve never worked in a club where they would have been allowed to lick them. Maybe then I would have gotten that too. 😛

where i worked vip was 300 for mins, i got tons of those and never did an “extra”. some guys just like the perks of vip- curtain, bigger couch, i don’t have to ask them every few mins if they want more time, and they know usually more of that money goes to the dancer than with per song dances.

I have actually been throwing around the idea of becoming an exotic dancer. I recently had my first club experience as a patron and I really enjoyed it; the girls made me feel empowered and actually brought back some sexuality I had been previously lacking. I also went specifically for a spiritual purpose, so most people probably don’t experience such a drastic change in enlightenment when they go to strip clubs. I did a TON of research, as that is my personality when I gain an interest in something, and I can second stripperweb.com, but also exoticdancernet.com has some good forum subjects. I definitely would recommend not going into exotic dancing because you need money; that may end up causing you to do things you normally wouldn’t do or be comfortable with. Unless, that is, you set boundaries and goals at the beginning so that you do not end up regretting anything. I, personally, want to try out exotic dancing purely for the power, fun, and an excuse to dance all night. I have a great paying career and just want to strip for the hell of it. My problem is I cannot work at clubs in my state because I have a higher profile job in which my face and name is widely posted (I’m in real estate). I have been tossing around the idea of taking a work vacation down to Vegas (I LOVE Vegas!!) for two or three months at the beginning of next year (to get the hell out of the Alaskan winter AND because there are a bunch of big conventions at that time which is great business). I’m a little on the fence because I haven’t talked to my boyfriend about it. We’ve been together for 8 years, so it is not a new relationship at all, but I mean, I have no idea how he would feel about it. He can get jealous at times which I think would ultimately be the cause of stress if I did end up dancing. This whole thing is more or less a big fantasy for me and has been since my Vegas strip club adventure in February. So, we will see how it all plays out. Make sure you do your research about the dos/don’ts of dancing and about the club you’re interested in. You can always go and talk to the girls if you can’t find any info out online of the club you’re interested in. Keep us updated on how it goes; I would be anxious to know how you like it!!

but don’t ask too many questions to the girls you are actually going to be working with, that will make you look weak to them and they will try to fuck you over. i don’t say this to scare you, but dancing is extremely competitive. don’t tell the other girls too much about you at first until you see who you really can be friends with.

I only know from a few of my dancer friends that not all the girls are out to fuck over newbies, but obviously you always get your back stabbing bitches like anywhere else and it may be more predominant in this industry because it is more competitive. As long as you aren’t pestering them and following them around like a lost puppy, you should be fine asking the girls questions. But, make sure you pay for their time; they are there to make money, not be the queen of Q&A. Also, ask for some dances and tip them if they show you how to do lapdance moves. Most of the girls I’ve met are pretty outgoing, so just be polite and fun; I think you’ll recognize who to talk to and who not to. Oh!! Little secret…whenever you go to a new club to dance u out will feel isolated and the girls working there…or at least some…will be bitchy. This isn’t because you are competing for clients or jealousy its because you just walked into their club and they will wait til you can prove yourself, ie whether you have the chops to do the job. They want to know that you can hang and handle the job….most of them it is their second home and they just want to protect it!
