  Got my first ‘badge’/bruise of honor!

  Actually, I got my first 4 bruises from poling.  One in my arm pit, one on the inner thigh, one on the knee and one on the top of my foot!  Does that mean I'm a 'real' poler now?

  Yep! lol I remember when I first started poling, I banged up the back of my leg/knee pit so badly it actually hurt to sit down. That was from doing back hooks; it took me a while to get graceful at that move.

  You'll get them at all stages in your poling, from beginner to super advanced. I remember watching a performance of Alethea Austin's, and the camerman zoomed in on her, and I realized I could see a big ol' bruise on her leg. I was like 'Hey, Alethea's legs look like mine!' It made me feel better.
