Since my last video I posted here in…. November of last year, I’ve had so much going on. My health took a turn for the worst, I’ve moved a bunch of different locations, blah blah blah and now Im FINALLY in a good place again (mind & body & location) to pole again. Ive kept up dancing on and off, nothing like I used to though.. and Im having the hardest time feeling like I used to on the pole. I know its like riding a bike and will eventually come back to me and my strength will get where it was but I just feel like.. where to start? Im stuck in the middle between basics & intermediate work and am so frustrated! Any advice?

Love you ladies (and gents!) <3

start slow and be patient with yourself and your body. you didnt’t lose strength / ability over night and it will take time to build it back. for now just have fun with your dancing / pole. make aplaylist of songs that really make you want to move. try to aleast strart w slow ones and just let your body move w no pressure to pull off crazy tricks or perfect turns. when you just let yourself get lost in the music and the felling of your body just moving you will be warming up your body and pole and alot of time i start this way and end up getting really into it and making a vid or just getting a really good practice in. floor/wall/chair work can be incorporated to help build strength and still be building skills for pole/dance. sometimes putting on something that makes me feel sexy (wther a lacy whatever, a bikini, a pretty dress, etc) it can put me in a diffrent mood. experiment w lighting and props.. just ease back into it. nd go with it if you feeling strong. if it’s a so so day just work on walks, turns, floor stuff, poses, etc.. if you end up feeling it, go for it! work on spins, light inverts, holds, combos.. just enjoy what your doing and listen to your body. watch vids to get inspired. every day it gets better so enjoy the journey and keep us posted on your progress!
