I’m used to practicing at home on an area carpet. I find that if I wear my boots and shoes my feet doing get sore especially when doing turns.

When I go into the studio and try to dance in my boots or heals its really slippery and I find that it would be easy to loose my balance and twist an ankle. Any suggestions on what I could wear in the studio on my feet that have fake hardwood flooring.

What about practicing bare foot until you get a bit more used to the floors?

Bare foot hurts the bottom of my feet too much when doing spins. Wearing foot undies help but I’d really like to dance in boot or shoes in the studio.

Have you tried getting the adhesive strips for on the bottom of the soles? They help with traction

    Try some Dance Paws.

I dance in ballet slippers a lot…they allow for flexibility of the foot but still provide protection for the bottom of your foot.
