So, in the past I had an eating disorder and lost 5 stone in a year, dropping from a UK 16 to a UK 8. I've recovered now for the most part but I have a small amount of slightly flabby loose skin which prevents any muscle definition on my abs etc.

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how I can reduce this problem and get more definition other than simply core work etc. I have a VERY flat stomach and find it hard to build muscle unfortunately.

    Any advice?

I have never understood before in classes when the instructor said during ab work to keep the bellybutton connected to the spine and so I loved this video.  The information about how it's the transverse muscles that will make the belly flat is so helpful!  Thanks Veena 🙂

I'll have a look with sound on when I have access to my bf's laptop, its nice to know you're not alone. =) Thanks guys.

Maybe as I build more muscle I'll notice a slow improvement. It's protein with every meal till then!
