Confused about pirouette
I ever love the pirouette a lot of womem make in choreo videos and its in veenas leeson too. I think I can the “normal” version but it looks very different. They all swing the swinging leg in such a beautiful way and I’m totally confused how they do this. I realized that it needs a lot of strenght to do the pirouette right like they, but I think strenght isnt longer my problem.
Do you have any tipps for me? I dont know whats the problem my pirouettes looks not like that 🙂

Hi! I’d love to help you out. I do not feel that strength is necessary and it’s more a trick of balance and timing. Can you post a video so I can see what you’re working with? There are a few different hand placements, all of which look lovely, with one working better than others for each individual.

Hmmm, yes a video would be very helpful! As briwi mentioned you don’t need strength for pirouettes and it’s mostly about timing and balance. What style are you trying to do? I have I explain 3 different options for pole turns (pirouettes) in the lessons. 🙂
