  • A 45mm diameter permanent pole?

    Hi,

I’ve been looking for a 45mm (1.75′) diameter permanent pole on the internet but so far I didn’t find anything. I’m not very tall and 50mm is too thick for me. I would prefer a permanent pole over something like the X-Pole because it looks like permanent poles are more robust. So, my question is, does anyone know where I can find such a pole (it’d be great if they ship to Europe too)?

    Thanks

    Lorelei

I would really recommend an X pole. My first pole was a permanent and the X pole is thicker (not diameter) but as far as the thickness of the metal. My 45 is wonderful and very robust. I was very impressed with the quality of the X…I thought for sure a permanent would be sturdier feeling. But I was wrong, the X pole is solid. And you can order one right there in Europe https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I have a 42 mm x pole and it feels completely secure. I have danced on both 45 and 42 x-poles and would definitely recommend the 42 if you are looking for a thinner pole. The smaller diameter really does make a big difference!

42mm sounds great, but it’s only sold in Australia, though. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_neutral.gif

If you still want a fixed pole you could try having a chat with a local engernering work shop they shoud be able to whack up a 45mm ss pole easy, as i looked at that when i was after a pole and its cheap as and you can say what gauge ss you want i was looking at a 3000mm pole with 2.5mm wall size and they quoted $180NZD, it would easily take 400kg+.
