Hmmmm… there might be more changes coming.  These may be just small pieces of a greater whole.  I wonder…..  Hmmm…..

Sean O'Connor, in my experience, is a good guy.  He has coordinated thousands of dollars worth of giving to breast cancer, and he devotes a significant amount of time money and effort to not only raising breast cancer awareness but also to raising awareness of pole.

We worked with Sean to raise and donate $1160 directly to the Rochester Breast Cancer foundation.  The pink pole pictures really are just a very small piece of the picture.  I think any of us who put as much time into charitable and awareness based work would be looking for some way to continue to pay our bills as well.

We've found one of the best ways to clean a pole is a clothes steamer.  Essentially you steam the pole and then wipe it down with a cotton cloth.  I really works GREAT!!!!

At three years old, I'm assuming you have the old style screw together joints.  In this case your only option would be titanium gold.  While I believe the joints will physically screw together I'm unsure of the interaction between the two metals, if they would bond or potentially not have enough friction to stay together.

Really though, you'd be in it for nearly as much money as buying a new pole.  In my opinion you'd be much better off just purchasing a new pole, with the modern joints and pole technologies.

No I can’t however if you live in the la metro you should be able to avoid shipping altogether by picking it up at Xpole’s Hollywood location.

PayPal is our only payment method currently.  In most countries they will give you the option to pay without creating an account and simply entering a credit card number.

January 26, 2012 at 4:03 pm in reply to: X-Pole X-Pert Hex Screw Help

I believe there may be a couple different versions of the X-Pert adjuster, I have attached a picture of the current one to my profile you can view it here https://www.studioveena.com/photos/view_photo/4f21cc1c-b7cc-432a-a3c6-17130ac37250

In the picture you will see just above the threads that lock the adjuster cover in place the hex nuts that lock the adjuster bolt.  While only one is visible there are three, one for each flat surface of the adjuster bolt.  If you do not tighten them over the flat areas of the bolt they will in fact stick out of the pole, you also risk damaging the threads of the adjuster rod so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tighten them over the flat areas as the instructions say.

Just below the adjuster bolt you will see a set of smaller hex nuts that lock the adjuster into the bottom of the pole.  NEVER NEVER NEVER remove these unless you have need to replace the adjuster rod.

Finally, covered by the open adjuster cover, in this picture and at the very bottom of the pole are two locking hex nuts that are responsible for putting the pole in spin or locking it in static.  These should always be tightened when the nuts are aligned with the X's on the floor plate.

@ – shebang cannot see the lessons, she is not paying for them, has never payed for them and cannot see or use them.  Which is why it is confusing to me that she would be so aggressive regarding this topic.
