Gmwifey – all orders have been processed and notified please email me your shipping address so I can find and resend your shipping info.

X-Pole retailers are not allowed to adjust the X-Pole price, very rarely X-Pole themselves will offer a sale price.
I would like to note however that we are currently offering free shipping to the US and Canada. Typical shipping on an X-Pole product is fourty dollars, so we are saving you fourty dollars.

Sometimes paypal doesn't redirect correctly. As long as you got a receipt from them your pole is ordered.

@LillyBilly – That happens sometimes when you have people from all over the world. We have alot of foreign members. Just want to make sure that our conversation is constructive 🙂

Can we please try and keep this civil? Cinara came to us with sincere concerns and looking for our help. Perhaps we could ask her some more questions about her situation?
Thank-you so much for your understanding.

@ElleML – I apologize for the response. I have to be honest that I fell prey to one of the cardinal sins of Forums in that I didn't read the initial post.

@ElleML – What brand of poles do you have in your studio. It's highly unusual for chrome to "wear" under normal use and when it does it will generally crack or peel. If the poles are experience where they most likely have some other type of coating that is less robust and experiencing wear.
To SensualScimitar's point, there are alot of other variables. In a studio environment you have cleaning chemicals, grip aids and lotions to contend with. These will often create issues before a metal allergy would.

@SensualScimitar – I think its time to put this whole nickel rumour to rest. You are more likely to be hit by lightning than you are to have a reaction to the nickel in any pole's plating. These imaginary health risks that some pole companies are putting out there are simply FUD campaigns, and they are completely and utterly ridiculous.
You would know if you were that hypersensitive to nickel as it is contained in many, many, many every day objects.
If we are going to avoid metal allergies altogether, we need to be building poles out of gold, titanium and platinum. These metals are non-reactive with human biology.

It's important to decide how you learn best.
Local studios can be great, but you have to research them. There can be a HUGE quality difference difference between studios, especially since there isn't currently any standards. Depending on where you are we may be able to point you in the direction of a good studio.
With Veena's lessons there are many testimonials on this site, and thousands of people have had success with them. We get testimonials like the ones in this graphic every day:

Certainly cost is roughly the same between studio and online lessons. Two months of studio lessons will cost about the same as a pole and two months of Veena lessons. Although with the online option you end up with a pole that you can continue to use whether you keep taking lessons or not.
Whatever you decide you don't have to get in shape to pole dance. In fact pole dance is how alot of people on this site achieved their fitness goals. From weight loss to endurance, the right program can take you from 0 to 60 on the pole.

While it isn't officially supported by X-Pole we've had great success using an X-Pole and a vaulted ceiling adapter at that height. The vaulted ceiling adapter reduces the amount of tension required to keep the pole in place so it shouldn't warp even at 15 feet.
