Pole-Twista…couldn’t you make the trek to Boston every once in a while…if so here are some places to start – I’m sure there must be some more:

I love it! I take a class every Saturday and am working on tissu as well…it really is a great stretch and sooooo much fun you don’t realize how hard you are working until the end (or at the abs section lol) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Nope – never…I need new moves https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif …bring on the strippers – but I would probably bug them to death…"how do you do this – how do you *pop* that" they would be so over me.
I have a close friend who is an ex stripper and she is just fine, she has her masters degree in animation and is teaching at a great University.
But really people are people – there are good people who are strippers and bad people who are strippers. There are drug addicts who are strippers and drug addicts who are lawyers…there are strippers who are great Mom’s and stay at home Mom’s that are bad Mom’s. One’s job or job uniform (or lack there of )has nothing to do with one’s self worth/personality or morals…if I judged people on that stuff those Hot Dog On A Stick girls at the mall would be in trouble https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

yeah…I have – they know…I am just looking to see if others in the same boat have some fav stretches that seem to work well for them – baby steps lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

VB, I have the same problem. Did you ever get the Flexibility book that was talked about on here? He has some really good shoulder exercises. There are some youtube videos that were made for volleyball that I found that were pretty good also…I will try to find them later when I get home and post the link for you.
Thanks Chemmie…yeah I have the book lol…guess I should try reading it a bit! I am so bad about practice/stretching on my own…with a trainer/teacher etc I rock…on my own I’m a lump. I can do classes or train with someone like a rock star but on my own – major FAIL. I need to be more dedicated when I am not under supervision https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif

I had an X Pole…I have a multi piece PS pole and I have a Lil Mynx pole. Honestly for ease of use I always go to my Lil Mynx – for me putting up the X pole and the PS was always a pain in the butt…maybe I just didn’t do it enough to really get it down also the X Pole would stick from time to time. If I had a room where I could keep the pole up I would probably just use my PS or an X Pole but honestly I like all 3 https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

haha…totally forgot I have this dvd too…must bust it out this weekend. I have been really bad about stretching at home but I really need to. After my pilates sessions I am sooooo much more flexible but I need to really make it a priority AND a daily practice!

Glad to see you back…life can be hard and it’s ever changing and sometimes we need a break but when you come back to a passion you love it’s always a great experience!
