Ok i received my pole yesterday… so excited to finally have it right. well i get the whole thing up and the cap that covers the screw in part wont go over the little notches at the very top. one side gives and goes in but the other side won’t. do i really need this cap cover. do i need to call x pole manufacturer. can someone help me please. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
You don’t need the cover on, most of us don’t bother. You can call them if you want and they’ll take care of it for you…my 45 x has the same problem but it doesn’t bother me. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I’ve been unable to pole like I had wanted. I managed one week of poling 4 times….but then the kids were https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif sick https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_l.gif then I was sick breast feeding issues not vomit LOL thank god. One thing after another. I haven’t been keeping up with my stretching either and I can tell. So now that we’re on the mend I hope to kick my butt back in gear. I plan on doing some weight training so we’ll see…….

I use my X pole on my 12ft vaulted ceiling but the ceiling has a flat spot at the very top. If your ceiling comes to a point then you can’t use the x pole. Platinum stages does in fact sell a special mount for a vaulted ceiling. If you do go with that brand I would suggest buying brass….I had the Platinum stages high polished stainless steel for my first pole and it was always very slippery. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif I have never tried their brass poles but brass does have more grip. Yup..Amcut is right she probably just needs more strength and do try cleaning the pole with other choices. One thing… its not a good Idea to use grip aids for spins. That can tear up your hands and that would be painful https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cry.gif Don’t let her get discouraged she could work on a half spin for a while and also transitions and some holds too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
