I know were all busy ladies, (trust me I KNOW) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif but I think its really important to get your energy/nutrition from whole foods, not supplements…drinks included. So here are my little tips
Make meals on the weekend or during your off time and freeze them for later in the week if you make double the amount you’ll have leftovers for lunches too!!
cut up fruit/veggies right away when you get home from your shopping trip and store them in individual grab and go containers.
keep granola bars handy (make sure they don’t have high fructose in them) or cliff bars…my fav!!
nuts are fast, filling a great for protein and other necessary nutrients.
dried fruit is easy to take with.
You can make a mix of nuts, whole grain cereal, raisins, and even some chocolate chips. What ever you like. mix in a big bowl and divide into little grab and go bags. Kids like them too!
yogurt is fast
so those are just a few ideas https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_idea.gif

Here is a statement form another dancer on here about the pole
I have a "My sexy Little Pole" at first I was very happy with it. It’s my first pole and I have had it for about two months. About a week ago I noticed that one of the seams in the joint is starting to flair out and you can see where the bottom section of the pole is pushing itself farther into the top section. I believe this is whats causing the flair. It is becoming dangerous to use. I would not recommend it to anyone. Will be getting an x-pole as soon as possible.

I was gonna include my routine but its pretty intense. OK can I ask why so many supplemental drinks? Honestly I’m not a big fan of supplements, drink, pills ect.. they are expensive and in almost every case unnecessary. The only thing I ever use is some protein powder, and I save that for after my work outs. Your body benefits most from protein shakes after heavy exercise like pole dance and strength training. I feel you can get all the nutrition you need from food, even if you are into weight training. Weight training is my second love!! I have been weight training for 9 yrs. You can see improvement in strength from just pole dance but if your feeling like you have hit a plaque or want to speed things up a bit, weight training is the way to go!
So if you do want to include weight lifting into your routine, I would recommend doing it the same day as pole dance, so before or after. If you do it after you wont have to worry about warming up https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumright.gif so thats a time saver. As far as what to train….every muscle group! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif you don’t want to focus say… on just chest, because you can create an imbalance…not good. So if your going to do a full body work out, make sure your leaving a day of rest in between and that goes for pole dance too, because its a full body work out. I cannot stress how important it is to let your body REST!!!
Here is my recovery shake, its high calorie for weight gain too!!
8 oz milk
1 pk of carnation instant breakfast (chocolate)
1 banana
1-2 table spoons of natural peanut butter
one scoop of protein powered….if you want its not necessary because it already has a lot of protein.438 cal
17g protein with out the extra scoop
70g carbs
10g fat -
I do I do https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I’ll give you my work out plan later on…..my kids have a friend over. Not every pole out there you can buy will spin. If its and X pole your asking about then YES every X pole has a spin mode option! X pole goes up to 9ft without having to order any extensions. Also its best to post any pole related questions under our dance pole section of the forum https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Hi newby here…do the poles have the spinning built in? I am getting ready to order and was curious? Also, how do you know what size to order? how tall of a ceiling does it fit??
Thanks.

Oh I’m sorry this is going on. You really need to talk to him about it for sure! Let him know how his relationship with her make you feel. Don’t point fingers, but let him know its hurting you. Having your significant other confiding in someone of the opposite sex is always tricky business. Let him know how you feel….were her for ya, go pole out your sad and angry feeling too!!! Crank the music up and dance!

So it’s not the pole? I just suck?
Damn it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
I’ve only used Brass poles in the past, is there a difference? My forearms are so sore right now just from basic spins and inverts and i swear I can’t get a good grip on that thing to save my life.LOL you don’t suck. Yes chrome is different then brass. Brass it the most grippy, titanium is next, then chrome, stainless steel is last (but can become grippy after heavy use). The chrome is a good finish because it wont spoil you like brass, but doesn’t need to be broken in like stainless. Remember things like your skin, finish, weather and size of pole all affect the grip. The warmer you can get the pole the and your body the better you’ll stick. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
