I’m sorry to hear your having trouble with your classes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif You should always respect your instructors, its their job to keep you safe BUT you are paying them, and if the classes leave you board and unsatisfied then they should do something to accommodate you. If your not getting what you need out of the class maybe you could find a new studio, or do they have a different instructor you could work with? If you speak with them again about it, just be really nice, don’t go in and accuse them of anything, just let them know you really enjoy the group classes, but be clear that is creating frustration for you. Let us know if they change their minds. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Definatly get heels with ankle straps https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif I really like my Ellie shoes, the chrome ones I wear are Ellie and they are my most comfortable. I have very narrow feet, so I’m not sure if someone with wider feet would like them. I also normally wear a half size in shoes, but in "stripper" heel they usually don’t come in half sizes, so I go down in size not up, because they tend to stretch a bit. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I try to place the pole right about where the "sit bone" is, so more middle butt cheek. hehe. I know Fleur has a video with her doing this move, and you can see the placement well because its close up, maybe if she see this she’ll post it, I can’t remember which one it is, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif I think she posted it here.

The best placement for the Tail sit is off to one side of your butt cheek. Having some skin showing is really helpful…its not a good idea to have all the pressure on your tailbone or Ms Va jayjyay. OH THE PAIN!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif If you cross your leg over the top of your other leg, like your about to do a CNR then move into the position by tilting back on to the butt cheek, then uncross your legs…to get out of it just go in reverse…and be sure to cross the same leg back over the other one. I’m terrible at typing out instructions I hope you can understand it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Awwww I really thought you were wonderful….to keep going with that top flappin around…I probably would have run off the stage crying. lol This was the first time I have seen you dance and I really loved it. No need to feel bad at all. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

AdministratorJune 16, 2009 at 4:04 pm in reply to: Should I let my 13 year old daughter pole?Yes, your will be creating a pole monster BUT I don’t think its a bad thing. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif Its a great form of exercise and it could be a fun thing for the two of you to share. The only negative I could see might be what others would say if she told them, and I don’t think you should tell her to keep it a secret either. She would have to be ok with their possible comments. Then again kids can make fun of any activity a teen participates in, like band or even cheerleading. If your worried about her getting to sexy on the pole….well she could go do inappropriate dance moves with out a pole so, I wouldn’t worry about that. If she is interested if pole then great, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif don’t worry about it too much, take it one step at a time.

If it is asbestos and you want to remove some of it, you really should have a pro do it. I would be unsafe to try to remove it yourself.

If they don’t see you struggle it looks too easy. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I bet the video wasn’t all that bad either, we are always our worst critic. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_geek.gif
Honestly, I don’t like to practice around my hubby either. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_safesex.gif
