Dezadera…Do you ever think you’ll want to compete or dance at other studios or clubs?? If so then get the 50mm. Yes, the USPDF is using 45mm but for the most part most poles are still the 50mm. The more room you have the better….and yes X poles will work just fine with the pop corn ceilings. I have used mine on that type before with no trouble. Some little bits might flake off when you remove it (not enough for you to notice tho) so just be careful not to get any in your eye https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cyclops_ani.gif LOL

yeah, the crucifix….the leg position is the same for the inverted crucifix too.

Basic invert
outside leg comes to the SAME side of the pole your body is on
inside leg come to the OTHER side away from your body.
Your POINT OF CONTACT…with the pole will be… the heel, back of the calf, of the outside leg… in between the knees and thighs of both legs, and top of foot with the pole crossing over the shin of your inside leg.
Concentrate on holding that pole in between and just barley above the insides of your knees. Working on your upright Crucifix can be helpful because it is that same leg position. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
