The good news is once you get back into a regular practice it comes back faster then when you first learned!!!

While I’m not sure what a good price for a used pole is in your area, I can tell you I have 10 yr old xpoles and they are not corroded. I have many other xpoles several years old sitting unused and they all are fine. Now if the person left it outside or in storage with high humidity that might be a problem. When you look at the pole check the joints and any areas where things connect.

Hi! If you have a video to upload or share it’s helpful in trouble shooting.

Those spins require you to hold your whole body, so it’s usually a matter of building strength.

If you’re using the lessons here, know that they’re placed in an order in which help you progress. They’re not random.

It sounds like you’re trying to do a back hook? Or just any spin while standing to the side of the pole? For the back hook you’re going to want to learn the Step around first https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5e7e4217-a544-4440-978a-55f6ac110005 This will teach you to go backwards from standing. As for all other spins start here….https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4f7460cf-70a8-4b81-b84e-781e0ac37250 and work your way through each lesson. Hope this helps!! 😊 The 30 day take off program will help you build strength if that interests you at all.

Oh it’s always so crazy to move and then hope you have what you want to set up a pole or whatever!

I miss having my little guys wanna do pole with me (sometimes) Now I have them hold the camera from time to time or assist with a cameo like in my last silly video. CJ and I had fun with that.

    Glad your back Karen!

I finally did a workout today, short and sweet. I really haven’t been in the mood to exercise. Then I did a quick video to answer a question about Gemini to Crucifix and posted to IG.

I’ve been occupying myself with video creating, organizing and uploading new lessons and learning photoshop. I made a silly video about Pole Dance and the Corona virus if any of you are interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-35Xe_14-A&t=17s

The best thing you can do if find away to test a brass. Personally, finish trumps diameter. But if a pole is slick a smaller diameter can help combat that issue. lol Not sure that was helpful!

Yes, from my experience sweat and PC don’t mix well. Now if you just have moist, tacky hands and skin it can work well, but not if the hands get wet.
