Ohhh I love feather fans or boas! I use X mas light and you could also swap out the regular bulbs for red or purple ones. Ummmm You could keep a dry erase board in your pole room too, then you can write down what you want to work on for the day or week. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I just finished recording about 25 spin lessons. Some are up dated lessons and some are brand new….more will be added in the future as well. If your looking to build strength, working on various Climbs, holds and the strength section would be helpful. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

You could buy an exercise band and take it with you too. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Just be honest about your needing some alone time to practice, its hard learning new moves! If he say’s he wants to watch, then let him know you’ll dance for him sometime, sexy or not. Whatever you are comfortable with. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

LOL Glitter, I’m sure they didn’t mean to confuse anyone with the title.
Empyrean, the impromptu SV pole jam was for anyone to join in, https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif calling it a SV pole jam would never mean only members are welcome. Not sure why there’s assumption I would be so exclusive. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif It was last minute and was posted on FB but not as an event….my pole jam was just a free, fun, get together because I was coming back for a visit. In fact, not all who attended were members.
Just checked out the info looks like a lot of invites were sent out, should be fun for you all. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

I left you a comment on the vid. The girls are right about twisting the torso. You want to keep the shoulders and hips square..THEN as your moving into extended butterfly you can turn the torso.

Your not wrong about the legs taking on a most of the power in the caterpillar. Keep on using those legs, having a nice strong grip with the legs will allow you to position your hand more easily for other moves like extended butterfly for example. Play around with the spacing of the grip…try spreading the hands farther apart or closer. To use inverted split grips, you also need to have a strong shoulders, chest and back, think of your arms as extensions of the chest and back. Don’t rely on only arms. I don’t know if your taking the SV lessons but the straight edges and butterflies are easiest to hold if your caterpillar is strong. That way your moving into those moves with a nice high/booty in the air, caterpillar with the torso off to the side. Not directly in front of the pole. Most moves just take some time to click! You’ll get it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

KC…I don’t have the Air invert posted yet in the lessons, it is coming along with tons of others but…..to work up to it….work on your tuck invert. Focus on lifting the legs up without any added swing of the legs. Also I hold my arms slightly lower for an air invert so you can try that as well. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
