Thought this might be helpful! If you’d like to post your videos to SV and have film on a phone or tablet that was vertical…don’t edit it as wide/horizontal. Keep the vertical dimensions then viewers can select full screen and the video will be BIG/FULL SCREEN instead of small and horizonal. If you edit it as a horizontal video it will look really little as our website like YT will make you turn the phone because it’s uploaded as horizontal but film vertical. If you film vertical (like I do now with all my videos) don’t change the dimensions ðŸ˜

Once you are cleared to start training again work on this routine, it’s got a bunch on stretches and strength work that will help prevent this. https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5e7506d9-4224-4491-8439-4bc4ac110005

I’ve got several 30 day programs you can follow if you’d like structure and a month long focus. Otherwise I also have VIP plans that are week long, so less of a commitment than the 30 day programs.
Here’s the list of VIP plans https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/_Veenas_Inspiring_Plans__VIP___20200430050239
The 30 day programs are listed in the lessons section each with their own section. 🙂
Otherwise know that all lessons are placed in progressive order so keep that in mind when creating a plan for yourself. All lessons have spinning pole techniques as well. 💜

PS If you don’t have a pole you can do a wall dance, chair dance or even floor work!

If you missed anyone’s video you can see them all here! https://www.studioveena.com/videos/index/challenges

Do you have video of you trying? A strong invert is really important, could be something else too.

Unhooking the top foot will come with time. You can only do this if you have a super secure knee pit grip, then it’s not a problem. Because this uses an Outside Knee Pit Grip focus on making sure your hips are low enough that the back of the thigh and but touch before moving the free leg into place. Keep the low leg of the hooked leg turning across the pole. Like shown in this lesson https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/5e7be01a-3240-43d8-a75a-308bac110005 (outside knee pit grip)

If in a studio always clean between dancers. If at home you can choose…some like a dirty pole, others wipe it down every few tricks.
I suggest deep cleaning the pole 2 times a year. If you have brass that means polish, I use Brasso, then clean the polish off real good. For all other finishes including brass (after brasso) try the steam cleaner method to get all the old grip aids and junk off. https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/50ccac91-674c-4915-8e13-3b120ac37250

As far a video upload, contact webmaster to help trouble shoot. Use the contact link. Make sure your internet connection is good, make sure you’re using the right kind of file, if the file is really big try using a compression app for phone or piece of software if using a computer.

Really it isn’t a great piece of equipment but would work for a beginner who really needed something. They don’t even make these anymore. I wouldn’t feel comfortable having someone spend a lot of money on it. I hope you find something!! If not, you can always play around with chair dance and floor work!
