Oh no, don't feel discouraged! I strongly feel spins with both feet off the ground are not beginner moves. There are some spins that are appropriate for advanced beginners.! It takes time for a person to build up the necessary strength and body mechanics to do spins, without injury.

If your instructor hasn't explained it already, be sure to ask how you should properly engage your shoulders for spins. If you forget don't hesitate to ask again. Ask for conditioning exercises that you can do at home, to prepare for pole.

If you happen to be taking the online lessons here, check out the Forward and Back Scapula exercise https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/0225276c-b90a-11df-856f-001b214581be and the Pole Strength lessons.

No, I wouldn't go that high with a removable either. I should have been more clear. I meant, call x pole and talk about options for example, you could do an x stage pole instead. Yes you can use the vaulted on a regular ceiling, makes putting the pole up super fast. I hear great things about the pole danzer poles if you can do a permanet mount.

If you haven't already try taking a look at the Getting started video for the Stretching and Conditioning section. This will tell you when and how to include these in your workouts. If you have questions feel free to ask. You may want to look through the comments on the Getting started videos for ideas. Others may have already asked the same question you have. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Erica, after the way people who represent your company talked about myself and reacted to Chem on FB…..well, I think you could see why we would be concerned with how those same people, who represent your company, might react to a video…..I'm glad to hear you planned on being silly and lighthearted.

I truly care about pole dancers, and everyone wins when all are treated with respect. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif
