The pic she shows is not a 40mm because it has threading and not joints to put the pole pieces together. All of the NEW xperts regardless of size have joints. Also the XPERTs are bottom loading not top. 🙂

The seller is saying 40 OR 45mm down at the bottom. So yeah, I think they just don't know a lot about the poles, or… they know that the 40s are new and popular right now so they're trying to get buyers buy using the term 40mm

They don't look like 40s and they are not Xperts…..the base is the old style and so are the poles themselves, where they screw together. The Xperts have joints that hold the poles together. They could be a 45mm or 50mm xpoles. The 40mm pole is fairly new, so unless by some chance these are from a test market area, and they happen "test"  them using the older style, they are not 40mm Xpert poles! This person maybe nice but the pole in the picture is not a 40mm xpert…..

Yeah  sparrow I agree,. it's a good idea to not give feedback unless they ask how they're doing or for help.

Please remember you can get feedback here, if you choose to. I've helped both paying, and non paying members with their form. I've met with members for video chat and gladly reviewed videos they've uploaded. The ability to upload a video directly to the site is one of the things that makes Studioveena unique! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

Being able to see what corrections need to be made is a skill all its own, and, even in person, not every teacher has that ability.

I love it when my members credit me as their instructor. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

Yay, that's good! Give yourself some more time and listen to your body, you'll know when something is not right. Don't be embarrassed, its not a competition, and I've had to start over several times myself.

You could add in some of the other shoulder exercises too. Keep working on Pole holds, Side pole holds, (like used in the Knee Tucks) But don't do them if they're painful. These things take time unfortunately. You might want to look into massage and stretching as well. Ice after exercise and try heat during the day. Massage and heat will increase blood flow to the injured area, this can speed healing. If he gave you suggestions for ice and heat follow that though. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

I see you've figured it out….I have 2 of the mounts and yes, we use 4 screws, and haven't had any issues, even when I had my poles at 14 and 12 feet. When you put it up again with the right amount of screws it should be fine. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

First make sure to let your injury heal.

Inverting is not all about abs, you need proper scapula engagement and strength along with strong lats, shoulders and biceps. Even your chest is used a bit! If the hands are too high or low this can be an issue too.

If the dr or chiro, gave you exercises to rehab and strengthen the injured muscle groups, make sure you're doing them.  I'm glad to hear that you were warming it's an easy thing to skip. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

If you're taking the lessons here be sure to check out the many conditioning lessons.
