It’s too bad they have no interest in posting them here even though we’ve asked in the past. 😔

Hi, it could be the pole, if it’s an x-pole and doesn’t spin freely then it’s too tight, if it’s a lil mynx you’ll find that you can use a bit more momentum and the spin is not as free, but still very workable. Could also be technique, to keep a pole spinning you need to have a plan so your movements don’t slow down the spin.
You’ll find some great tips for spinning pole in the quick lesson section here and also in the beginner, intermediate and advanced section at the end of each static spinning lesson.

haha That makes sense!! I was thinking that’s a great idea to include mounts for aerial equipment!

I pinched something in my knee doing some floor stuff so now I where one if I know I will be doing floor work.

I LOVE my permanent mount and you should consider one regarless of height, makes it so quick to take up and down. However I don’t see any thing that you could attach a hammock to, so maybe that’s a new thing?

Oh also I’m not a big fan of ice after the initial injury, heat works well to help with increasing circulation helping to heal the area. I save icing for swelling!

Spins and split grips are the worst for injured shoulders, forearms and wrists. Once you’re feeling better the best thing to do is work on strength based pole that doesn’t require extended arm hangs like some spins and full split grips.

You’ll find lessons for working up to and options for conditioning for this move below the main player of the Handspring lesson https://www.studioveena.com/lessons/view/4d84b1b1-1f94-45d5-8e8b-38e90ac37250 😊

Sounds like you need to rest and once you’re feeling better begin with conditioning to help ease the body back into pole. Feel better soon!!! 💜
