How well you can do something doesn’t factor into winning at all. It’s random so the more you do and share the better.

Thanks, I’ll look into it!

45s are great and I would suggest that diameter. Yes, thinner poles can bow but that doesn’t mean they are ruined or dangerous! As long as the pole isn’t crazy warped and all other parts are in working order a bit of a curve is ok. My brass is a 40 and has a bit of bowing.

I know you don’t want to do weights but this video has some great stuff you can do with either weights or instead use resistance bands like these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/7245456313?redirect=true&ref_=s9_simh_gw_p200_d1_i1. You will need an exercise ball too.
Here is the video with 30 exercises for the whole body https://www.studioveena.com/videos/view/52f90381-4458-4123-99e5-41150a9aa0eb
Here are some more strength based options I’ve shared on FB. There are more in the lessons too, if you’re ever in a place to use them.

I felt and heard a pop is was terrible! blah! Took FOREVER for both injuries to feel better, the toe break was significantly faster, just takes time to actually stop hurting.
If you can by a set of resistance bands there’s a lot you can do on the road with those. I focused on building my upper body strength at the time of my ligament tears. Can can maybe find a pack of bands at Target or any sporting goods store, I bought mine on amazon and they have held up super well. Here they are http://www.amazon.com/Black-Mountain-Products-Resistance-Exercise/dp/7245456313/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1440107438&sr=1-1&keywords=resistance+bands
