You can target any area for strengthening or flexibility but you cannot targe a specific area for weight loss. 😊

Runmist is correct, you can’t spot reduce body fat. Everyone’s bodies loose fat differently and for some that means hips last, others belly last and so on.
If you want to strengthen the hips you’ll find options in the lessons for that. Read descriptions to see what muscles are strengthened. Booty lift, booty squeeze and hip flexor lift are all good for strength and stability. The best way to reduce body fat is diet and exercise that raises the heart rate. The routines here that are not flexibility based would be great cardio. 💜

I read through this and see people who are concerned for you and want to see you well. In my time on SV I’ve seen my share of members who are trying to post just to upset someone and I don’t feel Poleisnewtome was trying to upset you.
I’ve also been on the end of a conversation/post where I felt I had been misunderstood and felt others were saying things that were hurtful intentionally. Sometimes they really were, and other times I was too sensitive. My dad use to tell us girls “don’t be so sensitive” lol in the most loving way of course! I started my pole journey as someone who was very sensitive to myself and others, so I totally get that for sure!!!! WE CARE ABOUT YOU!

I agree with the comments above and I also see your goal and point of trying to honor your body through natural methods. I’m always looking for the least invasive and at times non medical way of dealing with pain or sickness. However, there is a time to find healing in medicine so never feel bad for taking s path of traditional medicine as well. 💊
