hi polefairy! i think that you can get the splits! it's just a matter of how long it will take, because everyone is different. i have been working on splits for about a year, but not always consistently. i have had a few breaks where i lost motivation. but yesterday i got really close with my right front splits! i am 45 and have never had splits before, or gymnastics. my legs do feel sore today. i think it's good to work on them 2-3 times a week, not every day! good luck!! 🙂

wow that is great news! i got my husband an ipad2 for christmas. the guy in the apple store said that it didn't have editing capabilities, so i'm glad he was wrong.

luvlee, i didn't order them yet, have to wait until 10th (cc billing cycle starts, lol). love the mika wear (especially those jungle print shorts – very hawaii), i have black mikaela shorts and an ella top (that is too big). i have a bunch of stuff i need to sell, i don't like to do ebay so i just take to consignment shop. get more cash for new stuff, lol 🙂

@dustbunny – that's good to know, because i haven't started working on cartwheels or handsprings yet! one time i did a cartwheel to butterfly but it was just luck. 🙂

i think it's a good idea to ask for help. even if you could do it yourself, it's much less stressful! our neighbor is a builder (in fact, he built our house) so i'm hoping he can come over this week. 🙂
