I am in as well. Great idea. Thank you, Veena!

Hi Veena, personally I don’t have pics of my pole dancing on my FB profile, because I consider the SV website the safest place to share. My request comes from Milena Stoyanova:-)
-
Congratulations! I wish you few times X 20 years of happiness and success!
And My very best wishes for the new Year 2017! -
This is awesome, Veena:-) thank you!

In my current appartment (rented), the floor is with wood tiles. It looks very beautiful, but I honestly prefer the laminated floor in the previous appartment. Yes, it’s rougher on the knees, it’s cracking & it makes noise when I am wearing the heals. The scratches can be washed, no worry.

chair & pole:-)

From my own experience, in addition to do Veena’s conditionning exercises with the band, I highly recommend having 1-3 sessions with a good osteopath (chiropractor). This made a huge difference. Good luck with your healing:-)

Lula Geddes, I bought the same chair as per your link from IKEA, but a different color. It’s a good one and solid.

I agree with everything said here by the other members and would like to mention that the problem with the porn addiction is that the more he goes deeper in this direction, the higher the stimulation should be as the dopamine thresh hold is increased each time, thus seeking for more and more and he is never satisfied… It’s becoming a real brain chemistry problem…. Whatever you want to do to please him, I am afraid it will never be enough.
Being in this situation requires professional help and sometimes drastic measures to assert your boundaries, even if this means end of the marriage.
Thank you for sharing your situation. -
This was absolutely stunning, Veena:-) One of my most favorites:-)

MemberJuly 20, 2015 at 9:35 am in reply to: How do you keep your energy up all day so you have the energy to pole laterHello,
I hesitated to reply to this thread and finally decided to do so.
I used to face this issue a lot in the past and much less now.
Besides the comments of Runemist34 (food & sleep), which are the basic providers of energy, I found that in order to dance or do what I wanted to do after work, I needed a strategy to change my state, because if I didn’t, I would end up with procrastinating and not doing anything….1) I am learning to check my self talk. I noticed that already at work or on the way to my home, I used to tell myself: “I feel so exhausted, I have no energy to do anything”. Already at this moment, I decided that I had no energy for the rest of the evening… believing that this state is permanent and that I can’t change it.
Therefore, instead of deciding in advance what I would not do, I decided to:
– accept my state, go home and take some time to swhitch off the my work, and then decide on what’s next.2) Change my state
When I get home, I allow myself 1 hour max to relax:
– few minutes at the terrasse where I enjoy the sunny days, prepare light dinner, which usually is a fruit salad, take a shower,
and
– short meditation, or EFT (Emotional freedom technique) session for no more than 10-15 min
I used to think EFT is bla-bla, but since end of May I am using it morning & evening and it makes a huge difference in my daily life.
I am using the free meditations that you can receive upon your subscription at their newsletter.

What EFT does for me, is releasing the overwhelm from the day and clears the energy in my system. I feel back in my body, my brain is cristal clear and I am ready to tackle what I want to do….I hope this helps in some way.

Ladies, I am very happy that you found the video helpful:-))
I am part of Heidi’s circle since 1 year and a half. Thanks to her on-going support (2 per month: webinar & group healing session) & weekly meditation (for only +/-10 GBP per month) I feel emotionnally much more stable with a great sense of inner growth, better understanding of who I am and self-acceptance.
This is not a selling pitch, just wanted to share the tremendous support I get from being in touch with Heidi.Shoogstandley@
if you wish I can send you the invitation for the next event (you can attend for free as a guest) and decide if you want to join the group.
Ladies, have a beautiful week end:-)

Shoogstangley@ Sorry to hear you are suffering…
From what I’ve heard and have read, the adrenal fatigue can not be detected by the doctors until the adrenal glands are almost or completely taxed, that’s why
often the doctors have difficulties to find what’s wrong with the “general fatigue” and the “being exhausted” complaints of the patients….some insights from this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiWYzub9hnoEmotional release can also cause adrenal fatigue, as the body needs to adjust to the new energy…
For the adrenal fatigue, the very best solutions are:
– resting and sleeping a lot: not compromising the body’s needs
– yoga, stretching
– meditating is calming the brain waves and it’s the best way to calm the nervous system
and they cost nothing:-)As for the gallbladder issues, please check this method:
I have done many times the liver cleanse (gallblader flush) with a very similar method to this one.Part 1
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=poO_qU9Pzgcpart 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQsvJK2pOhM
part 3
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ia-wU2QKR98Lot of people find this method challenging, but there is another way which is “softer”:
every morning before breakfast take 1 table spoon of lemon juice with 1 table spoon olive oil. In order to have some results, you need to drink this mixture for at least few months….As for the Pylori, probably antibiothics work but as I am totally against taking them, I fasted for 2 weeks and it helped, but I do not recommend it in your state of fatigue.
Be kind, gentle and patient with yourself:-)

MemberMay 24, 2015 at 4:58 pm in reply to: Working out during lady cycle/ovulation questionThis is totally normal. I feel exatly the same.
I noticed that 2-3 days before my period, it was not really a good idea to train and invert. However, stretching and doing short light yoga sessions help to prevent the PMS. As a side info, recently, I heard that eating some red patatoes few days before the period, helps you to avoid any sugar cravings. For me it really works and also stabilizes my emotions…
Few years ago, I discovered a book, which helped me a lot to understand the different phases of the cycle and how I experience them emotionally & energetically. Honestly, I try to “organise”, whenever it’s possible, my activities around these 4 phases.
“The Optimized Woman: If You Want to Get Ahead, Get a Cycle” from Miranda Gray (Amazon)
If you want to learn more and use the different phases of your cycle to your advantage and not fight with your body or mental state, I highly recommend it….
Basically, the period is the so called “reflective phase”, which invites you to take your time to reflect, restore your energy, tune into your inner world, your intuition… it’s a natural meditative state. Be gentle and kind with your body and yourself. Make time for extra sleep and relaxation. It’s not the best time to socialize…In general, slow down and do less…. You will have the energy back in a few days….
-
I also like the daily updates, as it takes me less time to catch up with all the activities.
-
Oh, Allyson, I am sorry about the crash…. take good care of your foot.

Day 25 – Knee hold
Using the chair helped me a lot to at least get the feeling of the move. I like it a lot but it scares me…

I think these will be my last submissions for the April challenge, as the next moves are beyond what I can do at this stage.
I really enjoyed participating in this challenge and watching the progress of all of you. It forced me to try and learn something new, and mainly to stay in touch with my pole… Having been so many times “on and off”, I am not progressing as much as I want… Hopefully, I will break this bad habit …

Sorry, it’s Day 22
