I recently moved to SC as well. The closest studio is in Harrisburg, but I have not heard great things about it. I did hear there is a good studio in Lancaster, but that is even further away. I ended up buying an x-pole. I moved out of my apartment a couple months ago; it did leave some marks on the ceiling, but I was able to clean them right up with one of those magic erasers. Got my full security deposit back.
