Nope not a pro but someone who learned to pole and is certified. She mostly does pole parties and really wants it to be profitable to do that type of thing.
-
She does at $150 per hour( which sucks) I do home pole a lot so I want to keep that going.
-
Please record it!!! I am having trouble with this as well
-
I’m dealing with shoulder mount and split grip butterfly issues. Shoulder mount hurts a lot and split grip butterfly hurts. I’m coming back from a few months break so ill get them down again soon
-
I’m African American and I get my extensions from extensions plus or wagman hair. Both are really good quality never any issues a

I never meant it to be sort of demeaning. But more " have you not learned any moves and had your pole experience suffer" like not be strong enough to do a different move.. It turned into sharing and so forth.. The deal is not everyone will like everything, but just a way to be fun
-
I have learned exclusively on a static pole.. I wish I had more experience with spinning poles and making more graceful transitions..
-
What is the one legged climb
-
I have video of me doing an inverted V but it is wobbly.. I just can't roll over into the superman.. i know i can hold it once i get into it but i need to do it from a side v consisistently.. i should consider going from the pike hip hold too
-
I need to work on
-superman
Extended butterfly
-inverted v
And dead lift aerial invert.I need to start working on the Ayesha too. But I need a spotter
-
that rocketman isnt a favorite.. but i like the yogini so i am working on it.. i suppose
-
Something about the side climb looks like your hoisting yourself up
-
I am not a fan of any of those knee holds, bees knees, side climb( i think it looks terrible)… the teddy is.. meh too
im like no thank you

I like to practice three to 5times per week if I’m good. I also do cardio on my off days to build up endurance.
This past month has been kind of off for me with practice. I’ve been taking a week off in between practice weeks due to family stuff. I’m also looking to get a new pole that’s easier to set up so I can do things while I’m out of town
-
I have already said Surprise on Fb. I have kind of accpeted that all of things that make up who am are not for everyone.. It's a shame I can't set up the pole when i visit my mom's house, but I know thats who she is( very conservative).
-
I know quite a few people at my church who are interested in pole fitness. At the end of the day, there is no passage in the bible that says this is a no.
-
I deal with this too. I have very conservative family who feel that pole =stripper in all cases. It was difficult; but I stood strong. I had to stand for what I wanted. During a family trip to florida I got grief for traveling to a studio to train. The studio was awesome and I’m glad I went but I still got flack.
It’s hard because we want people to accept the things we like. Pole is in my blood I love it. And for me it’s a big factor for why I can’t ever move back in with my parents. We just have to know there is a wonderful community Of women who share out love of pole.
That keeps me going 🙂

I kinda cheat a little with my gemini.. i really press my side/arm pit in the pole to compensate for not fully having the pole where it should be.. scorpio is just fine.. nice and secure, gemini=nope.. I can get into other moves from it( star/side v) but thats from arm strenght…
its apart of my thing's im fixing this month
-
I have big thighs and CAR/CKR have been pretty easy for me.. anything that requires the thighs to grab…
where i find it to be difficlut is gemini/ things that need my knee pit..

MemberMarch 3, 2013 at 4:34 pm in reply to: Perfecting Basic Invert/ Home study questionsI am taking the lessons, i have just started and been using them for maybe a week. I am practicing 4-5 days per week, for roughly an hour of active time. I havent been very consistent with this but I am looking to go to a clinic in April and i want to have a strong invert by then.
I havent really taken the time to build like a structured practice time, after i warm up it is usually all oer the place for what i do. Some days i do a combo of climbing moves, like Cross knee/ankle Release and some inverts later or just inverts.. I havent used the any of the warm ups yet but I am going to start.
Can you comment on how to build a really strong pole practice time, how to structure it/what to include?

i do the knee tuck too to work on it and i try to dead lift into a v holding the pole(think like half way into the inverted v). i can bring it up,hold, then bring it down with control. but I am probably not doing it as much as i shouldshould..
do a lot of women use Skype? I use Skype all the time and i would love to do that with pole.
