sounds like u pinched a nerve i would see a doc if its still numb. also try the inside leg hang with a straighter leg, where you are hooked more at your ankle and holding at the thigh than a knee hook.

never hear hubby complain again!no honestly i would save up for the home pole it is so much better, then u can practice all the time and maybe go to a class or workshop once or twice a month to get out. with my hubby its easy bc he has band practice twice a week plus performances so he cant stop me from doing my own thing, maybe help your hubby find a relaxing hobby he would like https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif

also im going to buy the edited version off itunes, i decided i can live w the clean lyrics bc the rest still sounds the same, actually now that i remember, the clean version they sell on itunes doesn’t have changed lyrics it has sound bleeps. oh well! i still want that music and beat so im getting that and my hubby will trim it to time

lol its ok! yeah my friend said the same thing she’s like, that song isn’t that bad is it? im like "put anthrax on a tampax and slap you till you can’t stand" LOL! but i do love eminem! just saw the show at comerica park in detroit w my sis it was amazing!

thanks for the ideas and charley for the veena vid. also i totally understand the lyrics thing! we don’t need any more negative attention on our sport than we already have! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif

i would say more like six or seven feet like amy said…. for the ceiling fan u can actually place the pole near to one if u have to just make sure u turn it off when u practice this is what i had to do.

i think i would get the 45 mm. i got a 50 and i still think i could dance on a 45 and might be easier to grip. as for the coating, i have heard chrome is very grippy and pull at the skin for some people. by tg you mean titanium? i think that’s what i have, im really not sure. sorry not very helpful but i probably would go with the 45

MemberSeptember 10, 2010 at 1:21 pm in reply to: yay i got a chopper with absolutely NO kicking!!!stand beside the pole, hands gripping like u would invert. then pull knees to chest, lower to the chair position like a chair spin feet not touching floor, and pull knees back up to chest. at first i could not repeat without touching floor but that is the goal. this works your core really well! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif

just went back to read the article it was beautifully written!

oooh thanks everyone and mizvix for the side pole crunch idea! sounds great! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif

i completely agree w the previous poster. you will probably want to spin at some point, so why "waste" your money now, unless you would like to use that as an excuse to have two poles of course https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_albino.gif
