Ladies, I follow Veenas lessons by the book, I have the CKR and love it, can I proceed past the CAR onto the next lesson or do I need the CAR for future stuff?
-
Veena, You're lessons are fantastic, they really are. Yes, you totally cover that, but like you said I CAN'T get every move instantaneously… I'll make sure I'm high enough on the shoulders…and I'll be patient…

Sure feels good landing on a mat after the kitchen floor all this time….https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Loving the feedback. Thank you, always good to know I'm not alone. xo

Hey SissyBuns, It happened the first few times I did it, then stopped, BUT then I fell off the pole while in CKR and now the legs are shaking again, so I'm sure it's fear.

Big chunk of change for me but I bit my lip and ordered http://www.ecrater.com/p/9237546/stripper-pole-dancing-crash-safety . I saw this mat on other sites for $300.+, this site had it for $279. with shipping. Contact has been great w/ seller so far, good reviews, I'll keep you posted.

Very interested in seeing her ab stuff. Second link worked but didn't bring me to her ab exercises vid. Do you remember the name of the vid you saw? Thanks in advance.

MYTHVERMONT: You say you did enjoy it when you had it up. Please invest the money in YOURSELF and ship it. Remember that beautiful feeling you have when your dancing allow yourself that option when you're in HI. I agree, you will wind up buying another. This is your gift to you. Ship it.

Thanks Veena, I will post questions directly on lessons from now on. But you were correct…it was a placement issue, I was still to parallel to the floor, I really scooched myself up the pole and was able to do it! WOOT WOOT!
Now to work on the ckr. I think it's more a fear thing w/ it. Looking for some good crash mat right now.

CG!: Thanks so much for the reply. I'll keep looking.

The pole has been the one place I can go and feel beautiful. 25 extra #'s, 50 extra #'s. To me the pole is about finding your inner beauty, exposing yourself, feeling vulnerable and all at the same time feeling strong. Is it really about the money of shipping it or is it about your feelings about yourself?

Nymphdancer: Do you know where your friend got them from?

Thanks girls, I'm working on it STILL. One day I know I'll get it.

hookedonpole- Happy Belated Bday! I was able to get a crash mat for really cheap. I actually got an umbrella bench pad that came in two halves and had a hole in it for the pole, I mean umbrella. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif It works perfect. I can post a pic if you want.

It’s actually easier for me to do the hand stand then head stand? Anybody else?
