I like shaving using hair conditioner better then soap or shaving cream. I’m only half way through my laser treatments so I still have to shave a bit although nothing like pre laser. And like Amy the place I go doesn’t use the gel but the cooling stuff comes out of the laser.

I like steam punk burlesque styles. keep your eyes open for plain cheaper corsets (fredericks discontinues colors a couple times a year for the dream corset, I pick them up for about 25 bucks) you can go to a fabric store and buy beaded appliques, fur or feather trim and gussy them up.

I can see no shoes for beginners, its a safty issue. However no shoes ever for anyone? Not so much it is a part of doing business if floor wear and tear is your concern. and I can understand no heels on carpet, too easy to injure yourself heels do NOT do well on carpet.

Just reading about your situation, especially the word "hairstylist", triggered some anxiety for me. I had my friends from high school do my hair all the time, but I moved across the country a few month ago. My hair looks awful, my roots are like 5 inches and my cat has been eating the ends while I sleep, but I’m so scared to go out to new hairstylist in this new town.
BTW if your cat is eating you hair it has a mineral or vitamin imbalance that is causing it to do so.

I don’t know maybe I’m just weird but I don’t want to make friends out of the people I work with. Doing that just leads to trouble in the work place to me. Everyone at work knows me as a being a friendly out going person who greets everyone and does nothing outside of work with anyone lol. It could be because I was in management for so long and managers can’t be friends with those under them.
Where to make friends? Through hobbies and interests.
as far as gettting your hair cut go to a gay man, they give the best cuts anyway lol.

I have shaved waxed and am now being lasered.
Basically I would need to go twice a month for waxing or shave everyday and you know if you shave everyday its just going to not be snooth no matter what you do after awhile.
I got my treatments from Groupon 150 bucks for 2 treatments, I’m doing a total of 6. I just finished treatment #3 and love it. Already much less hair growth and less shaving required (for a couple of weeks no shaving then the regrowth starts) lifetime touchups if I follow their treatment plan. This was a freaking awesome event!!!! I can’t even begin to imagine the amount of hard work that went into this. All the instructors were wonderful, great to take classes with and great to be around the rest of the time. The performances were awesome people were raving about it for days. i have about 3-4 feet around my pole on all sides but 1 the last one there is about 6. When I move the pole area in a few weeks then I will have more space. But there are lots of things you can do with less space you just need to stay closer to the pole.

yeah I saw on the website that they were due to pass through customs between the 7th and 14th. I’m going to give them a call and see about ordering one so as soon as they get here I can get one out to me. I want this X-pole up now!
