"Nymphadora has one and hates it with a passion." yes I do a matter of fact I finally just took it down. I can only invert on it on a really good day. even after sanding it its still slippery as snot. I LOVE my chrome x pole. It is a good fit for my skin. But my favorite is brass for my skin it is the bomb.com

depends on the pills Mrs Naughtywed, I was on BC for about 15 years and had the best body of my life back then. Nice flat belly 🙂

MemberOctober 17, 2011 at 3:24 pm in reply to: HELP Does anyone have a studio that the ceiling are higher than the poles????the top one looks like the adapters lil mynx sells for commerical use. I had considered those but hate lil mynx poles so they are out of the running.
Those in floor things are cool looking but haven't a clue where to get time and how much you have to go into the floor with them. I had heard the husband of the girl that runs that studio had possibly designed them.
I've seen a few studio's now that have built up a stage, and that is under consideration for us too.

Ok my new Vado video cam will be here in a few days, this might be how I break it in have song and outfit picked out!

lol kittynylan that is how my mynx pole was too, except we put two lap dance chairs and a table across from the tv and positioned everything so if you were sitting in the chairs you weren't having to lean to look around the pole!!!
my x pole my hubby took out a piece of carpet and its on the other side of the room I had both up for a bit, but I really don't care for the mynx and needed space for praticing other types of dance. I will be opening my studio soon and figure if I want to play with more then one pole at a time I can do it there.

I agree with the vaulted ceiling adapter, i have one in my living room with a ceiling fan and have never hit the fan. actually i have two, my original lil mynx and my x pole. I just recently took down the mynx. the ceiling adapter makes the pole super easy to put up and down.
as far as the husband issue can't help there. I love having my man here when I'm praticing he actually helps me tons by seeing little things I don't notice and its great to have a spotter for new tricks.

MemberOctober 16, 2011 at 8:05 am in reply to: HELP Does anyone have a studio that the ceiling are higher than the poles????we are looking at having beams installed in the space we are looking at leasing at 14ft for our poles since the ceilings are 20ft tall.
best thing to do is talk to a contractor.

while I love that part of it is going to charity I don't care for PS stage poles at all and pink is a bit odd of a color if your using it for performing.

they didn't say it was pole related but they did say later it was "work" related and that the couldn't discuss the particulars. Since she was scheduled to do the Circque Micheal Jackson show I would think that is the work they were refering to.

couple of years ago my mynx came down with me, almost took out the tv. it had shredded the ceiling and beam. I have it mounted now with a piece of wood, then ceiling, then beam its soild but i also rarely use it since I have my x. the first time i put the x pole up I pulled it down too because I didn't have it up right.

there is only one studio here currently she charges 20 per class, or 75 per session which is 4 classes. I think her privates are 65 or 75.

actually there is a veener that put 2 4×8's together after cutting a foot off one and connecting them together with brackets that puts the pole a foot in and it is working well for her. that is what i was going to do, but since my landlord (lol actually my dad) knows that the carpet in our house is way past its prime and will need to be replaced for new tenants he didn't care if I took out a section.
