thanks everyone! I'm so excited about this contest got my dress today from Bettie Page clothing fits like a dream, shoes should get here tues or at the latest wed. the only thing I'm not sure is going to get here in time is my open bottom girdle, but I have a back up option here already……

its totally possible to change the color of the pole. Last year there was a guy on facebook "pinking" everyones pole pics with a pink pole for breast cancer awareness.
I have the vaulted ceiling adapter as well, because I do have a vautled ceiling, love it and am seriously considering using that set up in my studio when i open it.

This is what poling has done for me, I would have never had the nerve to do this 10 years ago, or heck even 20 years ago.

there was a thread about this not too long ago, more people tend to like the x then the ssa. personally I have been on both and not taking my dislike of stainless steel into the picture the ssa was a wobbly unstable thing. I did a fireman and thought I was going to tip it. That didn't happen with the X. just my 2 cents if it was my hard earned dollars buying it I would buy the x.

this thread popped into my head the other night when I was at work. Someone said about skinny girls having smaller breasts. That is not always the case my mom before I was born was 118 lbs and 5'9 and was a natural DD, two of her sisters were smaller in height but thin and huge busted. the running joke is no one else in the family has breasts because there is only so much breast allowed per family and they got it all!

this was one of my trouble moves but I finally nailed it Friday!!!! YAY! I actually learned it years ago at one of the few lessons I ever took before last year. I did it but not well and when I got home my brain kept telling me my shoulder that I have dislocated 3 times could not hold my body like that. Having a slippery stainless steel pole didn't help either. Friday karol asked about doing them and I was like nope not a move I can do, she said let me see you try. I tried a volia there it was! yay! I think in part it is because of all the jillian and hammock work making me stronger 🙂

interesting topic and very hard for me to fathom. NYMPHdancer, Naughty NYMPHadora. yeah there is a reason most of what I use has the word Nymph in it. Just add the O and that is me lol.

99.9 % of the time they don't bother me. Every once in a great while I will be doing a pole sit or bum slide and rub them wrong. Part of it is I have two differnent types and I squish flesh between them. I will say though I will never be poling on my x pole naked those holes scare the hell out of me.
my husband just reminded me of my first headstand, lol I didn't put my head on my arms instead of the floor and whoosh my head flipped out and wham…….pole slam with the kitty. I think I blocked that memory intentionally.

ummm all I can say is bum slide way too close to the pole and piercings in the "lady garden" ow. Major ow.

I can't help but think about a student a well known pole dance teacher told me about that insisted on doing some aerial moves in a THONG with not only not a shaved lady bits area but a full out garden hanging out……I was like you know that is enough to make me rethink wanting to teach!

I will for sure let you know if I get Krista down here, she wants to come play on my spinny pole. and we have been wanting to get together so I can show her how bad I suck with a hoop! I know what you mean about the kiddo's they are all over my poles all the time too and I'm sure they will want to be in the hammock all the time too. But they are healthy strong fit kids better then being couch potato's!
I'll have to message or call mikie, I was so sick the last couple of weeks he was in town I didn't get to class.
I also have some time during some of the days durning the week, I'd love to get together even for lunch or something!

I had looked at turners a bit but I never found info on their site about teaching adults silks and such. I suck at silks. Hammock I did ok for 5 or 6 weeks of lessons. I'd love to play on lyra and will most likely be adding one to my fun play toys shortly. Hooping also interests me, Krista is trying to find time to come down here and play pole and hoops with me. If we can get it worked out maybe we can all get together. And would love to try to get together with you soon!
I live out just over the shelby co line on a horse farm (hence hanging silks in my indoor riding ring lol) and have two poles in my living room. Also have some fun plans going on for the future for poling out here in the east end.
You can add me on FB, Maria Conzelman. Most of the people on mine are polers with some family thrown in. I had no clue we had friend requests here on veena, I bet people are thinking I'm a stuck up you know what if I've been ignoring them 🙁

we MUST get together! I don't know how I missed a FB friend request from a local poler. There are so few of us. More now that there is a studio in town but I only went there for a couple of months. I also took Aerial Hammock while Mikey was in town and would love to learn lyra as well. I have the stuff to hang a hammock in my barn.
oh wait I'm starting to piece things together….hooping. You know Krista in Indy right? I believe we have emailed about hooping????
