I wash my hands w/antibacteral soap before I dance. Ive been using brass for many years. One day I had alot of stuff on my hands and went to go wash it all off. Its like it strips everything from them. Im also a heavy sweater, so this helped as well w/my grip.

1) Getting tired
I used to be like that. I noticed if I upped my cardio I did not get wiped out quickly. I did 3 performances in one night and I was tired but not pooped.2) Repeating the same moves over and over again (just one song feels like forever when you’re dancing!)
If I draw a blank I just do floorwork until something comes to me
3) If I go through too many songs on my “pole playlist” this time, what will I do for future shows? (This should be a bi-monthly thing.)
how long is your playlist? Mine is about an hour but you can always take breaks. -
Im not sure if id be ok w/another guy seeing my cash and prizes. Like you if it was thong, id be a bit more easy about it. But then again, im married so I feel like that area is reserved for my man only, KWIM?
I know most clubs around here if the guy is getting a lapdance, they have to sit on thier hands.

im gonna be bringing my cousin along hopefully if she gets her finances situated, she will be coming up from florida. i dont think we will be taking the workshops cause i havent been poling for too long and she is interested but hasnt started yet. but im thinking we will be booking our room in the next month but we will probably be staying a few blocks away cause neither of us can really afford 3 nights at the gaylord honestly. i also am coming from the BWI area lol, im at fort meade so im probably right around where you are. once i get some more info together on hotels in the area ill let you know what i find unless you want to stay at the gaylord to be right there, just let me know when it gets closer ok? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
Yep, I live right near the main gate to the base. By the time the convention comes, Ill have my car back on the road. (thank you uncle same for my very nice tax return)
My thought was to stay at the Hotel, avoid getting lost. Im not very good w/DC. But if you find anything in the area for less – keep us posted!
The one thing I like about this convention is that there are various ticket packages to suit everyoned budget. If I can sell off all my MK inventory, I should be able to go all out for this!

. Im looking for roomates and all those goodies. Im so darn excited for this!
hey lady i would totally be interested in rooming with you if you are still looking!
Yep, I havent booked anything yet. I figured alot of girls would be planning this after USPDF is over. Im about maybe an hour from DC, im coming from near BWI airport.
The hardest part is figuring out what workshop I want to take. I think I should tell my kids for mothers day mom wants a workshop w/a international pole dancer! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

As a mom myself, if my daughter asked about your place Id simply explain to her its for women and not kids. There enough said. If they dont want thier kids to see it, they turn them the other direction. I feel like its like we have to be sensitive to everyone nowadays. No matter what someone is gonna find something offensive about what we do or what kind of businesses we run. No one is forcing them to look at your sign or sign up for your classes. But dont worry, I bet you she will try it out one day.

MemberMarch 8, 2010 at 5:31 pm in reply to: Is X-Pole the only option for plus sized women?from my understanding that if the pole is permently mounted you shouldnt have a problem. But I know theres another small pole company that has a higher weigh limit. Empy recommended them in another thread.
Im also a plus size gal and that was part of my research when I was looking for a pole (im still pole-less but I will have one).

I have a friend who went through a similar situation. Her daughter was also born at 24w and was released to her mom at 4mos. Baby was put on a feeding tubes, ventilator etc. Ive seen photos and to go through all of that just breaks my heart and to hear heartwarming stories like that makes me feel very lucky. I watched the Duggar special delivery and I cried my eyes out. The worst part of it I decided to watch this on my sons 1st birthday.
I had to have 2 csections. 1st was a failure to progress ( https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif I think if they took me off pitocin then I could of done it), 2nd was b/c I had a very big baby on my hands. My son came out weighing over 11lbs, no wonder we named him after a football player. My son is the cuddly one, he loves saying my name just to see if I respond. He always loved sleeping on someone.
The things we do to make sure our children are loved.

You can try inverting on tippy toes first. Don’t cheat and put your heel down, stay up on your toes. Its harder to invert with heels because your balance is a bit off and you can’t cheat and jump as easily and of course your leg line is longer….Just keep at it and you’ll get it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif
I am gonna have to try that tonight at the studio.
