A few months ago, i read a bunch of articles about facebook regarding how they completely violate our privacy as well as their stance on breast feeding and personal freedom of expression. Not to mention the fact that some employers (or schools) check up on their employees (or students) on facebook and some people have been fired/expelled as a result.
yep we just starting checking fb’s during the interview process. Ive been doing pole as long as ive worked here. Everyone knows in the office including my boss, havent been fired yet so I think im good to go.

wait i have a dumb question. i assumed the entries had to be a single take, but i’m seeing a lot of edited videos… i guess this wasn’t a rule?
I assumed that you had to send in a non edited video. I dont think I saw that as a rule.

Does anyone know if they ban just by e-mail, or by I.P. address?
probably just email and not IP. Mostly since you can check FB anywhere so they wouldnt want to block and IP Addy.
I have had a stern talking to from FB. I uploaded pics of my kids at Xmas time and someone deemed one of my photos not cool for FB. Which from judging from the picture I could see where they are coming from. They just deleted my photo instead of taking me down completely. I just wish whoever flagged my pic would of talked to me first instead of just flagging it KWIM?
Im sorry FB and the culprit are not in love w/your pole pics like we are. Try a different addy and pseudo name and see if you can get another account.

you will have a shoe problem after you hit BUY. I have a few cone heeled ones b/c thats what my studio asks you to wear. I do wear my other ones when i do pole play. I had a pair of pink ones, silver, black, clear w/no ankle strap and my new ones have fish (which need to go back to Ellie – they started leaking).
-
its really a personal preference. I like to wear the heels but if the song really doesnt call for it then all go barefoot. The thing with the shoes is you’ll get a better workout in your legs in them. Besides who doesnt want to parade around in 6 inch heels??? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

I first wait for a song to hit me. I have a big list of songs I like to pole to but some come out and hit me better than others. Ill listen to it and get an idea of what I want to dance. I also listen for pitch changes, bridge, chorus etc. Ill think of a few wow moments and then start filling.
Example: I really want to do Dropping Plates by Disturbed. Theres one point where the music slows down into the bridge. I could see myself slowing down my moves, doing a chair spin things to still keep me going. Once I know its close to my wow moment I start getting ready. Right where he sings "plates on your a#$ b*^%h, plates on your a$@", I want to do a handspring mount w/the heels clapping and maybe an aysha.
Once I know what im working with, Ill listen to the song non stop. Ill tell ya sometimes moves come to me mid day. Then I actually play w/everything, thats when I know if I need more moves, spins, tricks etc.

the theme song from true blood.
that was our routine music this week!
I do alot of dark rock when I perform (APC, Tool, Slipknot etc) but I do like to change it up to show my range in music and coregraphy. Ive even danced to a 3OH!3 song and considering doing another one!

You look at a customers paperwork and thier last name matches of a poler. Then you immediately think of that poler.
Happened to me today. The customers last name is Helms, my first thought was Karol!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
