I have been in love with pole dancing for 3 years but I started to practice consistently since the beginning of 2011. Before that I took a few lessons and practiced a little bit on my own pole but I sucked at it. After I lost 16 kg and did some strength training for my arms and abs (nothing too crazy but consistent) I got back to pole dancing to find that things changed and some moves that I found difficult just clicked immediately like the inverted V (which I`m now able to do aerial). It goes to show you how much strength training and getting rid of some of the excess weight to carry up the pole can help. I will not rest until I become really good at PD and I can consider myself a proper pole dancer no ifs or buts or maybes. By the end of this year my goal is to nail the handspring and the majority of the advanced moves from Veena`s lessons :D Happy poling everyone!
