NO WAY!!!! I’m 45, started poling like 2 yr ago, I have a pole buddy who is 60! She’s a grandma with a teenage grandson! I started to pole to feel better about myself (low self esteem) but now, I ROCK! And so will you. Don’t let your age get in your way. You can do it!!!!

OMG, Charley, what an awful crowd! It just goes to show you how important the audience is – you were absolutely on your game, and they just couldn’t be there with you. Grr.
And it’s not an age thing – I’m 42, for god’s sake. They just weren’t able to deal with sexuality. But not to clap is just appalling. And to sit there judging you when they were just insecure and jealous is pathetic.

I did exactly the same thing, and I remember thinking about that same question, about the floor. The technitian advised that it would be better if I lay down a wooden floor (those synthetic floor that we put ourselves), and then, if I wanted to, to lay those squares to protect my floor. I didn’t do that. I simply lay the wooden floor and put the pole on it. It was great https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I now have a garage with a wooden floor, I have a bycicle, Pilates balls, weights, and everything to do with my gimnastics AND I have my pole!!! I take it down whenever I want and the floor is always great! The gym floor only protects from the bycicle -

i find the pic a little disturbing…
think kids should be kids while they can.
nothing wrong with a kid finding a pole at the park or whartever and swinging away but these girls look 25 when they’re barely 5. just makes me feel sad that girls today don’t play with dolls, or tag, they dress like little adults with make-up and hair hot rolled just so. it’s like you only get 1 chance to be a kid and i think parents who allow or even worse encourage there children (esp young girls) to look, act, and dress like there many years older are…hmm
how do you think men are looking at them???? hello.. there are ALOT of sickos out there and i think girls have plenty of time to feel pressure to look and act "sexy". i dont even want to say what i think of parnets who put there young daughters in these situations where there using self-tanner (on a 5 year old???) hair extentions, make-up, showing how to swing there hipsa and shake there butts… gets me pretty upset. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_evil.gifI totaly agree with you! I forgot to tell you, in one of the schools we have 2/3 students per pole, the other one, it’s one student per pole (the school that has longer 2nd and 3rd levels)

I’m from Portugal, and here we have classes of 1,5 or 2 h, and we pay, in one of the schools, 175€ for 8h of lessons. The other school charges 160€ for 10h of lessons. This is first level. The other levels (2 and 3) are 150€/8h, and 160€/32h (2nd and 3rd level are 4 periods of 8h) -

I’m 44, Portuguese, have 3 girls (17, 15 and 13) and love pole dancing!. Started in February, and made lots of progress, but I’m not quite "there" yet. Hope it’ll be soon.
