Nope! You need to find the stud to anchor it to though. I have 2 up in a small apartment. They have been up for almost 4 years and only come down for cleaning.

Hello! There are a few things you can do. If you have a steam iron, you can actually steam it. Veena has videos on how to do this. I use blue Dawn dish soap on mine to clean it. I suds up a cloth and clean the pole real well, them=n I rinse it 3 tmes w a clean cloth. There are grip aids that help your hands not slide too. Determining the one that will work for you is a personal thing. We are all very different. I like Itac2. SOme like Tight Grip. Make sure you wash your hands in the Dawn soap too and keep a towel near by to wipe sweat from the pole once in a while. I hope this helps!

Why not try a reverse hand stand? You will be upside down and can practice leg grips while you are at it.

I love Discount Dance!!! I find the shorts roll up if you have thighs though but the metalic ones seem to stay in place!

There is no way steam will mke it worse. It will remove the vinegar residue. LOL! I have used and love blue Dawn  dish soap. I was doing dishes and read dissolves grease on it and suddsed up my pole, rinsed it off, and it worked like a charm as well.

You are such a gem! Thank you! I will get an order together and message you soon. My birthday is in March and I am asking for an outfit and romper on your sight too. I hope you ladies get your orders resolved. UK is a long way to get an order from. It does take a bit but so worth it when it arrives!

It is probably a broke in brass pole at your club, Hon. Broke in poles are so grippy no matter what.

I really loved this stuff. I have samples of the new but haven’t been able to mess. Around enough with it to make an opinion yet. I am mad that they even messed w it though.

Here is my personal experience with both metal types. I have extra dry skin, sweat just a little, and have to wear lotion everyday. I am in the Midwest where it gets hot hot in summer and cold cold in winter. I have never had grip issues with brass. Ever. There is no warm up period needed for me and I do not need to wipe it as much. They use the Pole Dnacer brass poles in the studio I visit once in a while. With Titanium, it felt similar to chrome. Needed a lot more warmin up though. I had to wipe it down every single time and this weird condensation kept appearing on it causing me to slip like I was sweating but I was not. I got a clean paper towel and wiped it down and watched and near the bottom I saw condensation just appear. I do not like that finish for that reason. This is just my experience. I hope it helps.

I ended up not being able to wear either short. I need mediums. I have been meaning to order but can not swallow 25.00 for 2 pairs of shorts right now. LOL!
