I have never used a grip aid. I use just windex and that alone produces adequate grip for me. I also have a lil mynx that I will use because its powder coated and is grippier when my chrome is too slick. I know its not the answer you were looking for but I wanted to throw my 2 cents in. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif I’m interested in seeing everyones answers to this topic too.

LOL, I made the mistake of reading this thread and then proceeding to check craigslist in my area and found a mirror 8’5"x6′ for only $50! They’re selling 3 of them from a former yoga studio- all 3 are $40 each if you buy all of them or 1 for $50. I only have room for 1. Now in the midst of last minute wedding tasks, I need to arrange for picking up my pole room mirror…LOl. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

I don’t know about the sent mail. You can edit your friends list when you go to ‘My Account’ in the top right hand corner, and then choose ‘My Contacts’ and scroll way down.
Thanks EVamp! I got it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

I’m going to add to this hooked….and is there a way to delete friends from your friends list? There are certain people on here that are no longer active members but on my friends list. I like to keep my friends lists cleaned up. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

I also incorporate the use of an exersice ball for certain stretches or ab workouts. Hooping has also benefited me with some cardio as a warmup or cool down. I try to change it up a bit to keep things from being boring or target certain areas of my body. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif

I take still shots from my movies in imovie all the time. i cant remember if it is in the "event" or if its in the clips in the "project" you’re working in, but if you right click on the frame you want to take the picture of, there is an option close to the bottom of the drop down menu something like "add still frame to project", and that will add the image to the project you’re building. if you right click on the image in the project, you can go "reveal in finder" and it will show you where the jpeg is saved on the computer.
Hope this helps! any questions feel free to ask https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
What version of imovie are you using? I did some research and imovie 08 changed dramatically from the 06 version. I am wondering if 09 this capability was fixed then?

how are you taking screenshots? i do it by hitting apple+shift+4quote]
Thats how we did it…it seemed a little tedious to me when I’m used to just clicking an option. I guess I could get used to this.

Has this issue been resolved? I am using a Macbook pro and imovie and uploaded a video but got the same thing and so now we’re messing around with different formats. Now I’m re-exporting the imovie to the original and going to reupload. I was just wondering if this issue was addressed as I assumed my first upload to SV had an upload error. I just switched from windows because I was having issues with converting my mp4 videos to wmv so I thought changing to a Mac would have made things easier- except now, its making things more complicated in a different way. I give up today! This has been my entire day. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mad.gif

You mean HOLDING a competition here in the Midwest? I’m in the midst of planning one for for next summer!
Yes, Empy, I meant the Midwest division in the USPDF competition. Like East coast has their comp and west coast has theirs then they take all those people and have one big competition. Why don’t we have our own USPDF comp to add to the big one? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_question.gif
