I wanted to share that my xpert xpole also mysteriously developed a dent in the dome after a few uses. I didn’t call to complain about it. I’m just going to live with it. I’m planning to sell it and buy a brass platinum stage removable pole in about 6 months or so anyways.

After reading about how some of you have found hooping to be a fun and effective workout, I decided to buy a hoop and try it. I bought the 43" brat hoop and the two beginner dvds off hoopnotica. I really like ellen barretts studio dvds. She does a fusion flow method which draws from ballet, and uses standing pilates. Its cardio and toning but light toning that you can do daily. My favorites are fat burning fusion, fusion flow, and the yogini. You can bUy used copies on amazon for not to much.also, you can watch clips from her workouts at http://www.collagevideo.com

I just bought my x pole (x-pert 50mm chrome) today. I’ll be using the space in my dining room space. I’ll have about a 5ft radius from pole. I’m 5’5. Do you that that will be a good amount of room?

Welcome to the boards! Jamilla is very well known in pole dancing circles–she has a DVD series that is a favorite of pretty much everyone that owns pole dancing DVD’s; you’re really lucky to have done a workshop with her. She’s a beautiful dancer, isn’t she?
